Even though it's the right stance morally, these never catch on.
Maybe needs a different angle.
The ones who ought to care the most don't seem to care.

You'd first have to prove human trafficking out of Haiti. Anons are 100% convinced but I doubt the general public has any awareness of this at all. So the proof would have to be provided first.

The board is having trouble right now. Images aren't showing. Usually indicates the site is under attack. It will clear up, eventually. Right now it's hard to share memes though.
No. ImageMagick is a very (very!) comprehensive image manipulation package with hundreds (thousands?) of features. Mainly, I use it for command line things like resizing.

It's so powerful it's scary.
Mostly, I look up examples on the web when I need to do something. It does not always do exactly what you'd expect.
It really depends what they algorithm they are using for recognition.
Tineye and Google Images I believe will match a crop of an image with a full image. So they are using something more elaborate than a hash function. They will recognize the same image at different resolutions, for example.
A website like 8kun is using an image hash to compare, "Is it the same image? Prevent upload since BO checked the box that says don't allow duplicate images posted on the same bread". So for 8kun purposes changing just one pixel is sufficient to make it different.
I don't know what twitter might be using to recognize and compare images. I don't know how to find out.
