I do think that reparations would be a fair thing, perhaps in the form of scholarships or something, but ultimately black folks have to move on from the idea of waiting for pie from the sky and start building things themselves and their children.
That said…
That whole “hey it wasn’t us shipping the slaves, we just bought them”argument is pretty weak when it comes to responsibility.
Try buying a rocket launcher from some shady gun runner and see how far that argument gets you with the cops.
