Just when I was looking at the fact that we all, including StellariumFag, seem to agree, we have a low moon. This may be a cyclical phenomenon as time passes from the DEC21 solstice(when the full moon is highest).

We have a maybe in JAN. And FEB has all low target Altitudes like 27, 19, and 10 degrees.

There is an app called Theodolite, to get an altitude, if anons want to take a pic from Hungerford Bridge for the team! But even knowing we may have a wide angle cam that may be playing with our perspective,

it is hard to think of the Moon at a 45 degree angle or even half of that, at 22.5 degrees. Am comparing low altitude moons with bearing (at midnite) to moon. The best matches for a SE bearing between 121 to 141 degrees are looking like Jan 21, Feb 18, 19. These were also chosen for a moonrise from 9:30 to 10:30pm around due East.

From some sunrise/sunset data I had for February, sunsets are about 5:20pm and about a minute later each evening. So, that moon in the vid is already due South and, from what I have learned, it is not a full moon yet because, by its position in the sky at 6pm, it is following the sun by about 7 hours- behaving like a waxing gibbous moon would do. A full moon rises at sunset and would be in the East and only an hour old.

Interesting that you are finding "low" Moons in February. This goes to why we find lower moons as we progress AWAY from the Winter Solstice on December 21 when the full moon is at its highest. Think opposite positions of the sun and moon during the seasons. Summer= high sun, low full moon.

Winter= low sun, highest full moon. So, for our target timeframe, we see a progressively lower moon each month. This appears to be pointing to February as giving us midnight lunar altitudes of 27, 19 and 10 on February 18, 19 and 20 in 2014. So again, we get better and better low altitude matches further away from Dec. 21. It's just what I'm reading. Related captures of answers as to question about why Moon is lower in Summer and higher in Winter. Compass view is from SV at Hungerford Bridge pointed at London Eye.

The "trash bin" box appeared at the end of an Embankment ROT series. There appears a kind of registration sticker with what appears to be a kind of "In case of emergency: Contact xxx-xxx-xxxx"

One possibility is the contact/redistration tag seems to say ? (Ckear Channel).Has a logo that looks very similar.

Now, Clear Channel Communications makes its money by owning advertising billboards and such. Might that also include advertisement periodicals and the newspaper-stand boxes? Have wondered why no one ever mentioned this. It was on my list of Easter eggs to look for on SV.

Okay, was waiting for others to comment but board may be slow. Thanks for keeping in mind those low clouds above the Corinthia Hotel. To clarify, no I don't think the one or two clouds shown cause any disconnect with the Embankment pics which seem to capture a clear-sky evening(at least up until that time). In fact, the CH pics may simply be capturing the first low passing clouds to appear on what had been a clear night. My intent was that the low cloud(s) might even have been a moving part- one cloud moving right to left and away from the camera. Following prevailing wind direction from the Northwest to the Southeast(so clouds may not have been seen looking down Victoria Embankment yet we are seeing them make their appearance around 12:50am. I finally discovered the weather portion of that moonrise/moonset website. Am finding on

Thanks for that great dig on Clear Channel. Will def look at. Just an observation on the Q pic. I'm on board with it being a junction box for starters. Now look at the base of it. It looks ancient. Bolted down and welded in.

My point is, maybe it is not a new junction box, just installed to showcase ultra modern app features for bus travellers, but rather maybe part of an older advertising infrastructure- such as a billboard. The TATT signs appear to be generic non-holiday oriented adverts. The pic of the gated entry is very gud. Have been keeping an eye out for a gud view of the double gates, even if not open, to compare with LISA. Observe how far doors would swing open during business hours vs. being closed after hours. Should we assume TATTS has yet to open in the vid? Gate appears closed in this vid and in LISA. Found a best at hand pic of TATTS open with gates open. You can easily find a better example. Found an interesting perspective shot from down the street at Whitehall Place showing the Corinthia Hotel down the street. Good view of parking there. Found a detail in Q's Black Box pic that I think is the attachment for the "bench" seat at that bus stop. See pics.

It's a black metal bracket that attaches the bus bench seat to the bus shelter. So we know it is a bus shelter in London we are looking for.

Just so any anons who want to join in the search for the Q bus shelter (with black box) know, this is the type of shelter we are looking for. (see pics related) They have these black metal brackets which support the small red benches. You can also spot them on StreetView by the red sign incorporated into the roof. Good hunting to anyone who wants to join in the search.
