Boris Johnson has suggested moving parliament to York while the crumbling Palace of Westminster is refurbished.

In a letter to those overseeing parliament's multi-billion pound restoration, the prime minister proposed the Yorkshire city as a temporary location for either or both the House of Commons and House of Lords.

"The government is considering establishing a government hub in York and it would therefore make sense to consider this as a potential location."

The paddle wheels were removed along with the vents. What looks like a cradle are beams under the area for support. One thing I did see out somewhere is at least for a while there were sections of chain attached just above the waterline that seemed to run to the river bed, those could cause problems in flood situations. I tried to find those images of the chains again but so far nothing.

So, when I was looking at the MILLBANK BUILDING from the LisaMI6 pic, I found that the building in the darkness next to BIG BEN could be brought out with some adding light and reducing shadows.

In attempts to re-order, I failed to make sense of the vehicles on the road except in the sequence presented here. Maybe Anons can give it a try, too.

What links ROT3 with the set of Corinthia Pics? In terms of dating the pics based on details within each individual pic, the bollards on the traffic islands (or refuges) does the trick. However, this does not reveal the chronological sequence within the set.

On close inspection, an Anon noticed that there appears to be an individual in a yellow Mack (or raincoat) in one of the night CH pics and in ROT3 (look at the bike docking station area). Likewise another Anon noticed an individual in a red jacket in the daylight CH pic and in a night CH pic (also in the bike docking area).

These individuals are cirumstantial evidence of links across the series. The Bollards on the traffic islands are direct pictorial evidence of such links closely bound chronologically. But this does not show the sequence.

Sharp-eyed Anons might have noticed that there are traffic lights in these pics. What is the typical sequence, colours, as lights pass through phases? Red, Amber, Green.

I think that LISAMI6 and LONDON are linked by the same red light. Then ROT1 and ROT2 show amber and green. At this moment I have not figured the phases on Northumberland by the Corinthia in comparison with those on Victoria Embankment at Horse Guards (as per these Q pics). ROT3 shows a green light in background. The same traffic light shows green in one of the night CH pics and in the daytime CH pic.

Can local London Anons figure if that traffic light is green before, after, or during the time that the Horse Guards light is green? It is possible that these are synchronized today in a different way than the year Q's pics were taken. The key difference between then and now is that today there is no right turn permitted from the left lane of Embankment into Northumberland. A tantalizing detail.

Another Anon noticed cloud coverage or, moar accurately, reflected city lights on low clouds.

Granted, some of these details are difficult to see. Some can't be missed when an Anon points at them. Q pointed at pedestrians crossing the junction. I think there may be a person wearing a black jacket and red cap who appears in one of the CH pics as well as in the Winter Wonderland and in the Red Bus pics. That would be like the individuals in the yellow and the red coats circumstantial evidence within the pics who show links across the different sets of Q drops.

For now, I think it suffices that there are details that can be spotted which show in moar than one individual pic.

There is an interdasting detail in ROT1 that independently dates the Embankment pics in the same time frame as the bollards in the pics that show CH. Examine the advert signs along the railing at the Hispaniola. These two independent details corroborate 2013/2014.

Well, that's the basics as I've seen them. And I am very open to doublechecking and rethinking all of it based on the pictorial facts and any evidence from beyond the pics that mesh. By way of example, see the City planning docs that help date the Red Bus pic by the changes in the bus stop sign.

According to this article, one should expect a Waning Gibbous Moon to be seen to the SOUTHEAST around MIDNIGHT. (see diagram) In the same diagram, it says you would expect a waning gibbous Moon to be in the SOUTHWEST around SUNRISE.

While this does not nail down a date for our Q pic showing London Eye with what we suspect is the MOON in Waning Gibbous phase, it is definitely further circumstantial evidence that we actually ARE looking at the Moon in a Waning Gibbous phase, at exactly where science tells us we should expect to see it around Midnight in the night sky.

No response necessary but just wanted to advise you that: 1) my estimate on a bearing might be flexible due to fact that on 3D mode am able show bearing to Moon about SE. Also, it may be the angle lense, but as we discussed, trying to be absolutely exact when comparing one view to another will be imperfect.(ie Q pic to GoogMap, Q pic to Stellarium and vice versa.

But, working with just a Moonrise/Moonset program have been able to find some low altitudes around Midnight on some dates.

About tide times: It looks like we are lucky to get a peak high tide around 2:30. Most are later. As you may have observed, high tides can vary from 5.50 meters to 7.70 meters. Although, the HISPANIOLA is at a high tide, the tide shown may not be 7.70 meters. You can see, our times for our tide peaks can be between 2:45am and 4:00am.

The LisaMI6.png and ROT1(w/London Eye) more than likely depict a tide still rising. it seems like all those tides with a lunar match are on early morning tide times. As regards altifude/moonrise time and bearing, I have been able to find some altitudes in the 30s and below and some late rises and Moons that stay low. But don’t worry about a Rising tide that could go higher Prolly should have said all this earlier. Questions? I have gathered times/bearings/moon rise and set dates for 4 dates in each target month if you want to ask anything. My program is a simple one.

A small change in the coronavirus timeline on the official website of World Health Organisation (WHO) is being highlighted as the agency's admission that China did not report coronavirus outbreak. The initial position of the WHO has been suggesting that China had indeed reported news of the outbreak. However, new information has everyone thinking about the issue.

The Washington Examiner, a weekly magazine in the US has reported the news.

What has changed on the WHO website?

WHO maintains a timeline of coronavirus pandemic from its early stages when it was limited to Wuhan City in China's Hubei province.

The OLD entry in this timeline reads:

December 31, 2019: Wuhan Municipal Health Commission, China, reported a cluster of cases of pneumonia in Wuhan, Hubei Province. A novel coronavirus was eventually identified.

The CHANGED entry reads:

What does this mean?

Earlier entry says that Chinese authorities "reported" the initial outbreak.

Not in evidence Jan/MAR/APR/MAY 2013. First appears in summer of 2013 but in a slightly different form by Autumn 2013. To narrow further will need (in addition to tidal and lunar evidence being dug well already) some very specific pictorial evidence and/or supporting documentation.

To answer that here are two suggestions based on ROT1 (see pic). First, the sign that appears on the river wall/stone railing; it does not show up in SV images nor in vids and pics I've scoured to this point. Second, the empty parking that is designated for motorbikes only; there may be a new restriction for certain dates or perhaps just a long-existing restriction based on time of day/week? Usually, in other evidence, motorbikes are present wherever parking is designated - all times of day.

Previously, all motorcycle parking on Victoria Embankment was proposed to be removed. We now propose to retain this provision by relocating it to the segregating island between the cycle track and the road. There would be a slight increase in overall motorcycle parking space on the Embankment from 55 metres to 62 metres. This parking would operate at all times.

Yes, that is approximately the form the covering took in Q pics. This remained until no longer in pictorial evidence in spring of 2014 (APR and MAY 2014 as far as my own dig).

The City sometimes posts "Parking Suspension" signs. These are temporary. Flexible material hung on lamp posts or on trees and other permanent structures like road signs. These are notoriously missed by drivers who might not follow the local decision-making closely. The temp signs are bright yellow with black lettering.

In Q pics you can spot them on both sides of the road. See attached examples.

Anon posted stock images, I believe, of such parking suspension signs. Haven't nailed down the motorcycle signs yet but the bright yellow objects in Q pics are good candidates, I think.

Re Parking Suspensions sgns may explain the lack of motorcycles parked in the motorcycle parking areas in Q pics.

If we exhaust the possibilities, then, we may be as narrow as we can get before future proves past or news unlocks past. At least we will have helped set the stage for the reveal, if it comes.

In the meantime, the vid series has progressed, with some placeholders for possible outcomes on these digs. Also, a supplemntary set of bits and pieces raise questions about the apparent theme of wheels and circles and roundabouts.

This example is for the work on the Tideway project which closely followed the work on converting two lanes into push-bike only lanes on the river side of Vic Emb. The meridian was changed for that purpose and eventually included an area for the motorbike parking (as Anon previous noted tonight). This work started in 2015 and so it was moar than a few seasons outside of the Q pic time frame. The signs in Q's pics prolly were for a short term use of that zone for something as mundane as clearing garbage bags of leaves from the Whitehall Gardens, for example.

Will only say that the Moon in Q’s pic, and in that particular phase is exactly where one should expect to find it during that time of year. Previous favs last look were October and January. But, as you may recall, they put up those Christmas party banners around mid-October, by historic pictorial evidence. So, imho, favoring Jamuary 2014, and just looking at some favorable rises, bearings and times for February 2014.

When one thinks on motorcycle traffic, there are three types, but more likely two, to consider. The average motorcycle rider is more likely a working-class fellow using an economical means, and maybe just the means they can afford. The solo motorycle zone is narrow. A bike could fit across it, perpendicular to the cur, as per pictorial evidence of such parking areas. Not wide enough for typical car, van, or whatnot. Although, oddly enough, have seen mini cars parked perpendicular at curbside in some parts of London.

While the motorcycle traffic might be much reduced outside of peak business hours, and I agree that your reasoning is very good, there are no bikes at all in Q pics in this series. None. And in this particular motorycle-only parking area, there is one if not two yellow suspension signs that are typically posted to prevent use of the zone for some time period. That time period might well be during business hours, natch. And so your reasoning would still apply very well even if it was not the basic answer to why there is not even one bike in that zone at the time of these Q pics.

At this point, however, I am leaning toward the conclusion that the purpose of those temp signs will likely remain elusive to us for the time being. This is not likely to help us narrow the time frame further. Even the notion that utilty vehicle might need access to Whitehall Gardens to remove leaves or somesuch would only add to the already established frame of winter 2013/2014. One never knows what details might be discovered on Q drops, of course, so while I am moving on to other possiblities, will keep; an open door for moar on this particular detail that has linked across the series of EMB pics.

Our Q moon, a WANING GIBBOUS, is not a full moon but rather a couple of days after a full moon. It appears in the Eastern sky and is usually expected in the area of Q’s pic to be exactly where we find it- in the SE to SSE before midnite. We are looking at the fact that it is still quite low on the horizon. So, maybe recently risen? Maybe a couple of hours old but on a low trajectory?

Anon, do not if this helps your dig, but the rotation of The Eye takes one full 30-minute phase. Can be marked by the red capsule's position. Even when not in use by customers, the wheel seems to be set to move. Think the time lapse posted some weeks ago. In the time lapse it did not move per half hour but on a different interval. Much longer. A sort of time keeper, perhaps, in aid of comparison with apparent moon passage? Hope to regain access eventually. The time lapses posted were for about 3 hour spans. Not precise but gives an idea.

Thank you, Anon. Makes me wish we had more moving part Q pics with London Eye in them. But alas, our time frame is long. To give an idea, the Winter night in question was probably about 15.5 hrs vs. an 8.5hr Winter day. Have been using January 20 as an example. Learned quite a bit more today.

Took a free practicum on where you can expect to find the sun position, moon position or general time of day/night based on the fact that if you know 2 of the the above, you can figure the third. Some lunar phases generally occur in daylight, some occur mostly at night. Hard to explain but based on angle of the sun to the Moon.

Based on what we are seeing in the Q pic, it is definitely taken in the “earlly” part of a long, 15-hour Winter evening. would probably take until 2:45am or so just to reach the “Meridian”, using one of January target dates. The Meridian is a point straight ahead, or due South.

Again, hard to explain, but picture a circle in front of you. At the back of the circle is North(0 degrees). Now, going clockwise, you have on your left, East(90 degrees), South at 180 degrees and West at 270 degrees. (Again, just an example but my favorite date.) The Moon rise occurred 9:26pm at 90 degrees. Our pic is somewhere around SE to SSE. A free online site puts the Moon at 129 degrees SE at midnight. This would give the moon some time to get to SE from rising from due East at 9:26pm. I also like the Jan. and Feb. dates because of the later moonrises which keeps them low in the sky around or after the restaurant ships close. Will post my practicum results. Caveat: They set a standard 6am/6pm sunrise and sunset to help the beginner get the concept.

But it does involve some very interesting rules about how the sun and moon relate.

Will post phase chart which shows that a moon phase will either follow or precede the moon by a certain number of degrees(Remember the circle with degrees.) 1 of 2 (more diagrams to follow)

TY Anon. Here I am walking through the building of a framework based on the observations made about the Q drop with the The Lond Eye and the bright moon near its hub. Baby steps, kek. With potentially moar elaborate notes (in brackets) on possible side-steps.

We begin by noting the pic is a night time shot with a bright moon behind The London Eye. The sky looks clear. No sign of rain.

(Also, given the dig on the night sky over the Houses of Parliament in this pic, stars are visible in a fairly clear sky. Or, alternatively, distant lights in the sky, possibly aircraft, are visible in a fairly clear sky. Might compare this with moar overcast skies during winter months, in general, to gauge where this sky sits in a range from very clear to very obscure. Could be relative to weather patterns during winter of 2013/2014.)

Before estimating the moon's arch or trajectory we can make other observations of this moment captured in the pic.

Based on trees, the image appears to have been taken during the colder months of the year. People appear to be wearing jackets typically worn during London winters.

(Without going into the details, can also compare with the dig on the rooftop repairs and the white covering seen in this and the other pics in the EMB series and confirm winter as a broad period during which this pic was taken. NOV2013/MAR2014)

Also, can note the appearance of a high tide based on comparison of the river water and features on the HISP and TATT.

(Again, can be linked to the tidal dig and its rationale for further narrowing the range within the winter months.)

The camera faced a generally southern view of the River Thames and of the Clock Tower, aka Big Ben. The London Eye is on the eastern or Alberta Embankment side of the River.

(A small detail: the red bubble compartment on The Eye is marked by two red lights visible in this Q pic. If we later determine that The Eye was parked for the night, that may help further narrow the hour of the night the pic was taken. And so a dig on The Eye's operations during winter months might be in order next.)

Moderate amount of traffic flowed on both carriageways and rather light pedestrian traffic on the eastern (left side of pic) promenade and even lighter on the western promenade. The traffic lights permitted pedestrians to cross onto the islands, or refuges, that reach across the Embankment/Northumberland junction.

Next, given the shape of the moon in this pic, might deduce a time of the lunar cycle - or, moar roughly, a time of the month (even without knowing the particular month) based on moon phases and such.

The moon is "pretty full" and so can compare with equinox and solistice periods. The Harvest Moon pic posted earlier lends a comparison between Autumn and Winter, for example. The Q pic resembles that Harvest Moon news photo as per relative position in sky of the bright moon as seen through the reference point of The Eye's hub.

Winter Solistice of 2013 began 21 DEC.

Now, there have been v. gud posts here about the waning moon. My request here is for a description of how we get from the pictorial evidence dropped by Q to the deduction that this pic displays a waning moon. I have confidence in the dig but less so in my understanding of this.

Right, so assuming a waning moon is captured in the Q pic, then, we can look at sauces such as astronomical and calendaral data for the winter of 2013/2014. A waning moon is that part of the moon's cycle which goes from a full moon to a quarter moon and spans a 9-night interval.

6 nights? Moar? Less? For example, dates left after eliminating the last 6 of each 9-night interval:

17 to 10 DEC 2013

16 to 18 JAN 2014

14 to 16 FEB 2014

This is perhaps where the operating schedule of The London Eye might come in handy. What days or nights, if any, was it not open for business?

(Can add another detail that points to the 2013/2014 time frame: the Coronation Capsule was assigned in summer of the Golden Jubilee, 2013, and so the red lights indicating its position in the Q pic would have to post-date that summer.)

And that, frens, is as far as I have baby-stepped the dig on the waning moon. Felt like one of those water spiders skimming the surface, to be honest, but that is prolly the depth to which normies and newcomers here will find most accessible. That, I think, is where we will meet our broadest interested audience for the products of this werk. In the meantime, there may be no limit to the depths to which we might dive to establish a solid and narrowed framework.

As for the specific degree of Waning Gibbous within that category, some sites show the percentage of light reflected as an aide. In the recommended search dates submitted to StellariumFag, the best match for a Waning Gibbous was given, with the assumption that StellariumFag would bracket that date looking before and after.

As to the appearance of the Moon in ROT1, yes, it is a little bit blurry, yet in its favor, has enough waning property to overcome the blur. I found that significant and factored that in. Imho it can vary roughly from 78 to 88 percent illumination. (see samples)

Try that site and walk the date forward and back, even move the time, and you get a feel for different illumination percentages in your head.

Think my studies in Lunar Science may be paying off. Using the method of assigning moonrise to a position of West(90 degrees) on a circle, along with site providing the time the Moon passes the Meridian(due South-180 degrees). We are also in possession of historic data as to what compass bearing the Moon was at midnite on any given night.

For an example using January 20, 2014, am going to use my original obs that NSA TRAF CAM ROT1 shows the Moon at a bearing of SSE from Hungerford Bridge looking thru London Eye.

Using the circular diagram mentioned above, place Moonrise at 9:26pm at the 90 degree, West position. We are told that it took until 2:53am for the Moon to reach the Meridian(due South, 180 degrees). We now have a time frame for the time it took for the moon to travel 90 degrees. At midnite, we are told, the moon was at 129 degrees- almost SE(which is 135 degrees). So, to get the time for when the Moon was at the observed SSE position, we divide the minutes between its midnite time(very close to SE and the time at the Meridian(due South) at 2:53am. This tells us the Moon would be at bearing SSE around 1:17am.

(The above calculation bases on 1/20/14 data from open source data).

Posting this ahead of future discussions about why Q pic ROT1 depicts roughly (at this time) late evening between midnight to 1am-ish.

An understanding that each moon phase represents a definite time relation to the sun is important going forward.

For example:

Waxing crescent- always follows sun by 45 degrees.

Waning crescent- always leads the sun by 45 degrees.

First qtr moon (you see left 1/2 dark, rt side is lit) always 90 degrees behind the sun.

Third qtr moon(you see left 1/2 lit, rt side dark) always leads the sun by 90 degrees

Full moon- always 180 opposite Moon

New moon- always 0 degrees (near the sun)

Waxing Gibbous- always follows sun by 135 degrees.

Waning Gibbous- always leads the sun by 135 degrees.

To picture 135 degrees, just think of a 90 degree angle plus a 45 degree angle.

Some things to remember: It takes the Moon roughly 3 hours to transit 45 degrees of the sky. Roughly an hour for 15 degrees.

The Waning Gibbous Moon is usually around 135 degrees in the night sky at midnight.

Picture in your mind a circle. The bottom of the circle is North and represents 0 (zero) degrees. East is on the left of tge circle at 90 degrees. SouthEast is at 135 degrees.

South is 180 degrees.

For later discussion about tides- this is why we seem to be seeing a high tide correlation in the wee hours around 3ish when the Moon reaches its peak height in the sky at due South (aka the Meridian).

This is why I have said that we are seeing a tide in LisaMI6 around 6 meters but on its way higher. A rising tide.

A while back, anon asked about Spring tides. Did not have an answer back then. Posting info with a tide graphic which may also give anons an understanding why a high tide should be be expected to coincide with the Moon at its highest (aka- at the Meridian). Open source stats are consistently putting high tides we are looking at in our target dates as occurring close to 3 hours after the SE 12am-ish position of the Waning Gibbous moon.

What we are seeing is agreement with open source data. This is good. From appearances, it is starting to look like our ROT1 pic is indeed after business hours for the restaurant ships, and either a weekday or Sunday, but not on a Friday or a Saturday.
