Anecdotally - I believe that I had covid back in early December of 2019 after flying from the UK to Iceland. I had the typical runny nose and sore throat. I was also basically in bed for about 3 days just sleeping and trying to recover. After getting better I had a dry cough that lasted a good 4-5 weeks.
