>- The zen people would say, don't make two. [This means, don't mentally adopt divisions and categories.] Don't make dark, don't make light. Just go straight, "Don't know". Just do it 100%. [Make a "revolution" in your own mind, become clear by making unity within your mind. And do whatever you are doing 100% with full attention "Be there now".]

Have you seen or "read" this book?
Dr. Richard Alpert, Ph.D INTO Baba Ram Dass - "Be here Now"
Highly Recommended.
I think I have told you before but if i had to pick a faith it would be L.O.T.U.S.
Swami Satchidananda is the Founder. He saw the Yantra while meditating.
Many Paths One Truth.

>Word fall short. The Bible had to use earthly language (it's all we have) to describe spiritual matters. To understand the spiritual matters we read the Bible's language as metaphor and imagery (word paintings) and typology. Bible literalists and Jewish "Torah is a history book" don't get this.
Words are bad. (Not Evil type bad, but lacking in ability to convey) We cannot convey many things due to our/their limited knowledge (of words/symbolism/metaphors/etc) or equal understanding between 2+

>BTW. Many Christians quote scripture to assert that only those who accept Jesus as their savior are saved.
I was saved over 2000 years ago.
As i child I had a small breakdown at a church camp due to the preacher telling me i needed to be saved. I tried to explain to him that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and that I did not need to be saved by other men. It was very tramatic for me at the time because i could not comptemplate that I would need to be saved by a man
I grew up Roman Catholic (Even went to catholic school for ~4 years)
So I agree with you 100%

>Paul wrote in grammatically complex, scholarly, difficult-to-parse Greek
Being able to read the OG scripture in the native tongues would be the only way. But I am unable to learn (Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic, and the other languages used in Biblical text) So sadly will have to due with "bad" translations and others ideas.

>So I hope nobody thinks I am trying to persuade anyone of anything. Just saying how I see it, and acknowledging that I'm not a teacher and could be wrong. Think for yourself.
Not at all. I love religious discussion/debate
But do not sell yourself short IF you feel the need to tell to teach and someone will listen you are a teacher and scholar to that person. Hold those titles with reverence.
>Are there different paths that get to the same place?
Yes, Many Paths One Truth (See above LOTUS)
>Or strait is the gate and narrow the way, and few there be who find it?
Yes and No. few find it because few search.
To quote our fren
โFreedom is not easy. Freedom means each man must be responsible for oneโs self. Some men would rather be slaves as a slave doesnโt have to think for oneself. Ignorance is Blissโ ~ Sgt B
In this case freedom of thought which this all religion is THOUGHT

>How much of Truth is objective? Subjective? Is it even possible to convey a Subjective Truth to another person? If they experience a subjective truth that they say is the same as ours, is it really the same? Is there any way to know?
I like to say Perspective is a hell of a drug. And no amount of trying to relate will give another your perspective.
For no man can truly understand another perspective. Even if they try to place themselves in another's shoes (So to say.)
But with Time, Patience and (Attempting) Understanding You can come closers to anothers perspective but never reach equality of perspective. For Perspective is Unique like each person.
>I think that Together, we have the possibility to uncover more Truth than individually. So I LOVE hearing what each has to say. Because each has different experiences that are valid to them.
ONLY TOGETHER DO WE WIN! This doesn't just apply to Q but all things in live.
It all starts with WANTING to understand.
DIVIDED the house falls.
