I've just confirmed that it is still exactly 5000 characters.

control characters count in the character count, visible in the end post, or not..

The clown doc is exactly 5000 characters.

yeah.. i've noticed that if you engage with anons like you say.. it's like being on stage. When you are baking , you are the actor in the spotlight, for better or worse, because, only one baker can baker at once :)

And just like any actor on the world stage, you can lose your audience.

Fucking with the shills is fine, but as a baker, the way they're dealt with is different than when the baker's hat is off.

I've noticed some things by watching Trump himself, actually. The way this anon sees it, Trump is a Master at backing off shills, and that man does not retreat from anything.

But he is doing different psychological things to the shills, depending on if he's on stage, or off it. Still can't put the mechanics of what he is doing to specific words, but anon sees him doing it.

/qr/ is formed out of the ashes of the storm โ†’ 8bit gives aflb a chance and makes them a mod โ†’ 8 bit fires aflb for fuckery as a mod โ†’ aflb is allowed to still bake โ†’ aflb is banned from baking due to fuckery โ†’ 8 bit is replaced by fj โ†’ your are here now.

I agree, in the sense that there is zero point in asking for trouble. Goading the shills for keks when baking is pretty counterproductive.

Defending your editing choices as a baker is something different, imo. Shills seem to love bakers they think are wishy-washy or unsure of their own discernment. As such any BTFO'ing has to be dank.

>WHY DO YOU BAKE?

It's better than trying to sift bullshit on tv.

>Do you bake because you want to?

most times

>Do you bake because you feel you have too?

no.

>Do you have your own agenda to baking?

yes. giving the NSA actionable evidence to prosecute Traitors. For the children. Really.

>What would happen if people stopped baking?

shills would "bake" and pretend to be people.

Shitloads of people did, and this anon was one of them. Never got banned by you but observations are what they are. No point in even rehashing at this point, because in this anons view, you're no better than Acosta or Stelter. An unrepentant liar.

You were even given a second chance, but you fucked that up too because you are such a capricious, loser.

Doesn't even matter if you are not controlled, and just fucked up, or if you really are paid. It is what it is, leaf. Sorry you chose poorly.

it's a good idea. teaching people to bake in the big stream sucks balls. It usually involves flinging suggestions at a flailing ebaker and hoping they see it before the bred runs out.

Kinda leads to an answer to a question in another thread on this board:

>is mastering the mechanics of baking enough?

No. they do something that a script, or even AI can't do. They confer the spirit of the stream into the notes through their selections' inferences, in addition to doing the aggregator portion of collecting muh actual notes.

That is the diff between intelligence and news aggregation. This is a war. Wetware works :D

.

>does a baker have any obligations or duties?

Obligations? Sure. To make sure the new bakers that come next know what a baker that knows their craft even is.

How does one do that? By walking the walk.

Thanks to all the contributors here. The only way forward is transparency and collaboration, and this place seems to be doing it.

>How does a baker know what to notable and also when to stop with notables?

my metrics are:

One post == 5000 chars, so 4500 chars is when note taking hard-stops for me.

if the list gets beyond 2500~3000 chars, it gets its own break so there's still other notes to read. crowding out other bakers sucks.

>What is notable?

Nothing is considered noteworthy without valid source links from sites that are not wrap-up sources. Sole exception is dank memes for the keks. Even that shouldn't be abused though. So:

-Q Drops (obv)

-Any twitter posts from verified accounts of government officials related to current events or q drop information

-Any postings from government information portals concerning current events or announcements.

-Any postings from those with public audiences that reference or are referenced by a Q drop.

-Things that are current events in the US/World, including but not limited to: Regional/national disasters or emergencies, Crime (especially treason and other federal felonies, or human rights violations), Any commercial or private interstate traffic related to above. That's all I can think of right off the top, wew.

>What about notables that include the kitchen sink?

I try to limit corroborating notes to the best 3~4 per, to conserve space. because:

-crowding out other bakers is shitty

-the readers shouldn't be made to look at indexes of link numbers. They want to look at ~~headlines~~ a table of contents. That's essentially what it is. Kitchen sink notes are more like index entrieses than contents page entries, Imo.

>how to resist shills?

That's a tough one, and is individual to the baker's personality.

-Trust yourself

-Think for yourself. Be resolute in whatever decision you make; the shills smell uncertainty like fear.

I've tended to try to keep the shills playing my game instead of the other way around, so if a reader bitches about a note being added (or not being added), then the first response will always be to reference it in terms of whether it was relevant to a Q drop or a statement by POTUS.

Spam shilling does not get noted on principle, true or not; Notes are for anons that are invested enough to stay current. Since the NSA scrapes the entire board in real time, the spammers do not help them. Since newfags should be reading 10k breads before poasting, the spam shilling is not for them either. So there is no exception there with me.

If you do choose to interact with the shills while baking, make it dank, and back it up with the truth, and move on. Baking is way more important, and you do not take handoffs to fuck off., and anons rally around dank bakers anyway, kek

Get used to hitting ctrl+f (search) on UID's. i don't advocate using userland scripts unless they are simple, specific, and to the point.

there's one listed on /qr/; I use an older stripped down script it was based off that only lists (yous) to me and Q posts in a visualizer with navigation buttons, and a readout of the breadspeed. No post fading or any other bullshit.
