IRL events, sometimes the geezers don't listen. Anyway, as soon as I can find which of the thousand Sticky Notes I have it on, I had asked a few questions last night, or the one before (all shifts are one long one to me these days) so I'll post here so maybe my bakerers could look them over

So much for Sticky Notes. My primary purpose is to be able to keep helping out the Britanons. It seems to be always late at night when their bread is over 720 posts and I end up coming over to General to get some help. Anyway: Lessee here. I copy the top part of the old bread (not the image) and stick it into Notepad, will have to change number +1 and have a new title. Notables go into a second Notepad while going through the current bread and collecting new ones. These I seem to have in the brain-housing group okay. Now, when I hit clone in the pastebin, do i need to delete everything that's already in there or will it just vanish when I go to copypasta the Notepad stuff into it?

Sweet!. So that would be go to an older pstebin/qbin and just hit clone? One of the things I need to try to get right is fix the missing Notables in the UK breads. Eventually I'll get a link to 14, 15, and 16 so I can get in there and get the notables back up.

Seems that somehow they got short on bakers, after #13 there weren't anymore. I posted over there a few minutes ago to ask who had the links to those 3 breads, another Britanon had already posted the links for all the older ones. Waiting game right now, it's just after 1 AM in London right now so an answer may take awhile

That's were I think I've got a lucky advantage. If I start by baking over in the UK breads where they don't go very fast and it is rare for Q to post there, I should get faster at scooping notables and be able to put in the "Notables so far" posts so I can get comfy with the whole thing and the Brits will know evrything's fine. After a few of those I may end up taking turns in Graveyard (again, slower moving bread) until I can get fast in case there is one of those ghost protocol going on and for some reason Q decides to post a zero-dark-thirty

The Brits are a great bunch. They have a few shills and the one troll but it's amazing to me I got called over there one night to post some things regarding a ship, after that other things I've been able to help with. Now because of being over there to help I can use tineye and I've kept the url for the wayback machine.

That's what I've been seeing. I can start off on UK and maybe take turns on the graveyard. Boatfags keep weird hours and more than once I was going to be around for 6-8 hours and next thing I know I was passing 14 because the "ok, just one more bread and I'll go do something like sleep or whateverโ€ฆ" and I have been surprised by the Sun coming up a few times.

That's why I already posted a request to the UK board for those links. I've been helping over there for a few weeks now (and the last bit was about traffic signals controls and timings of all things) and they seem fine with a Yank sailor hanging around. I figure I'll go through the breads, grab what I think is notable, and make a post in the current bread to see what the Brits want in the notables section that I hope can be complete when the next bread is done. I sure was not just going to pick things without consulting the Brits. I don't know if you remember him, but the other boatfag from 8chan days tends to be at the UK board so I think everything will be fine. The one shill may hate life but oh well

Awesome. So basically I could probably do a practice bake here and there on graveyard until the UK needs a new breads. Hopefully I can have the notables from those three breads gathered up, approved, and just sitting in Notepad so copypasta and boom, all betters. I guess maybe I will use the Kekistani Naval Ensign when I do the Create Thread bits so they stick out and make it easier for BO to nuke later to save room

I figure the first one for one of the shills on the UK board, you know, classy Brit style and all. Nice thing about "what day is this now" while hanging around from days to nights to graveyards is I get to pick up memes and Pepes

Hmmm, got whatever Notepad version is from Windows 7. Absolutely cannot take this cobbled together machine to 10, which I despise anyway, because I can't keep having office and Xbox trash running in the background. One of the reasons this machine is expendable. So did everybody take a peek and see how my first practice came out?

I noticed when I was trying to get the practice bake to go was that for some reason the notepad that I have was putting the post listings in with what I guess is well-intentioned reddit spacing. Got a "body to long" until I took the extra spaces out. So???? Does it look alright or should I hang my head in shame?

Not afraid of asking questions, that's fer sure. Like I said, start off slow and build up with UK boards and the graveyards here and there. If I come in at the right time I can have slow breads with a few notables and no Q until I'm up to speed.

They can hole up in France all they want. INTERPOL is a real thing. Any charges out of the EU and the gendarmes are acomin'. The yacht is flagged Cayman Islands so out in International Waters there would have to be permission from the Caymans to have a coast guard board her. She can run but USN has a Battle Group in the Med and not only are the surface ships keeping an eye on everything that moves, those E-2 Hawkeye planes are very capable, and everybody's tied in with a data link. Been there, done that, T-shirt faded

Unfortunately for our opposing forces there is myself and another boatfag here in the States. We may get the one from the UK boards over to general now and then, and there were a couple that thought about taking up our little "hobby." And now that the bakers are going to help an old sailor get more dangerous by baking I expect to be brought under intense shill fire again, like way back when they couldn't stop the planefags so figured they'd play "you're a boatshill" games. Just like the one shill on the UK boards that went "don't matter if you bake, you'll be filtered" and I had a sensible chuckle
