in order to actually authenticate, you have to do a challenge response.
That is what is missing. I've seen Doc and one other baker do it right when they go for a bake.
You have to write a fresh bin and post that link to /qr/ to do the challenge response.
posting a complete bin only proves you have nice bins, doesn't prove you're at the tiller right now.
The outgoing baker doesn't want raw evidence (just muh bin), tehey want evidence that you are what you state, in real time.
The shills have studied to find the weaknesses in the training materials. The handoff protocol is one such weakness, because it is literally a voluntary system, at each individual baker's discretion.
…so doing a proper "protocol" handoff not stressed, and, is actually a new concept for pretty much everyone except me. I have to do it every time I advertise, because it is literally just a tripcode and a board.
And why would they? They just want to bake.
So it's understandable as to how this happened. when you have a voluntary system, technical details that make it sound, can be overlooked.
Anons are in a war of attrition.
Part of that is going to be discouraging new blood.
Why do you think the shills attack the unsure mercilessly, and then immediately attack any vet baker that raises their head?
And then posting all sort of shit saying the bakers are doing it?

It helps the anons help me. Often, I'll get a pice that I'm not sure should go in notes.. Ten another anon adds something that makes the connection, and bob's your uncle a dig is in the notes.
Anons are second to none.
You should do what works for you, I just got in the habit of doing exactly the same thing, every time, and decided to be a prick about it.
You should just read the stream as you've been doing and just remember it as an option.
