wonder what the teacher's gonna look like this year?
>One verification method that I haven't seen used,
This is kinda of unfortunate; this method works well enough for bakers getting feet wet. Then if they decided to keep going they could just apply for a board..
That's what I did. And Rusty is gracious.
this is a good point. I can remember a handoff where a bv stated they couldn't see any bakes, but they knew muh hash, and cleared me for takeoff.. so they at least were aware it was not a trouble free system
I've found the shilling seems to follow a shift pattern.. But you can get a shill that "remembers you" soo you will get targettedโฆ Until they get moar pissed at someone else.
That happens with alfb.
so imo, it's only because that shill's got an axe to grind, moreso than some agenda.. That's the way it's felt to me anyway..
>>infrequent bakers getting miffed about being asked about previous bakes
they can cap a you and hang onto it like I used to have to do before i did what I did.
/no sympathy
even easier than forging a you is this: any time you are forced into using raw evidence as a proof authorship, it a losing battle because the proofs are just burned in a singleuse way.
I've taken veli's stance.. if it's after 12โฆ ill offar with aghost @100.
if it's after 1, it's ghost unless a riot breaks out.
>I don't think we should be gatkeeping or being a closed group any more than necessary.
fully agree with this.
Have seen anons rally with no baker and still get notes into the ebake.
If I see a baker I think is good, I will reserve the right to choose who I want as the baker when I bake.
if I don't see any, a ghost will happen.
anons are fully capable of choosing the bread they wish to participate in. This is the polite way of saying "bread wars happen if a shit baker picks up the ghost, and it's bad enough".
Because that is how it is done with no mods. its all about the blessing, kek :)
It's all about trusting yourself. You know why you're here. :)
The effects of the gaslighting get irrelevant after a while.
ghost at gy == the baker is making the choice to tell the anons of impending unconciousness before the ghost justโฆ happens ;p
for my own part, all at the same time:
-attacked by OSS for 3 weeks.
-(somehow) avoided wrap up smears, for 3 weeks.
-finally decided to claim entire post history to end the wrap-up bullshit, some of it deserved due to spamming the middle finger as a response, but, some of it prosecuted by you and the others, thinking I really was a shill.
right when I came back from a long hiatus.
soo.. no offense for my own choices, but the work resume made it so I could even continue to function on /qrโฆ
no offense.
Agree with this. Sure.. I'll tell a baker off, but it's also their bake, so bullying them for it is pointless.
Better for them to own it and have anons instruct them until they either hand off or ghost, like in the old days.
>Don't give it and then cry when you get it back.
This. If you're going to go in hot, don't get all butthurt when the response is also hot.
the respect is mutual, thanks for the kind words.
as far as the imagefagging, well.. having to throw colors to bake has always sucked.
It always goes back to: Anons like to keep the door open, but when the kitchen gets raided almost every other shift, what do?
As far as what went on last night speficially, cfranklin88 deserved it. baked 2 duplicate bread with identical titles because of a frivolous dough problem. Then got shitty about it.
Then ghosted a bread later. that's just childish.
So yeah, I threw colors and told him off, and let him clean his own mess. Probably not muh best moment, but you learn, kek..
I said what I wanted to say directly to cfranklin88, and have no further comment on it. They know how I feel :)
>Can we blame him?
no I mean your greivance, like, why you are pointing out some things. You're not wrong, generally speaking, either.
>No wonder he's giving shit back. He's taken enough, and that's from our own, not the shills.
as far as he goes, well. I'm a tough love kind of anon. It's good that he's fighting back. I had to. All of us had to. he's coming of age.
look, I just offered him relief while calling him a faggot. He'll be fine.
>My greivance is how new baker's are being treated.
>I''m not gonna sit and say nothin.
Good. Thank you for thinking for yourself.
>Hell, it's so bad around here ;ately I've been refused 3 hadnoffs WHILE SHOWING MY PASTE. From my team mates.
Witnessed one of those times.
>What chance does a new baker have, and what incentive does that give any anons who are thinking they might learn to bake when seeing that typa shit going down every day?
I don't know. I had to learn on my own by watching the other bakers in the stream. /comms/ didn't exist. Then the moves happened and shortly after the baker checks started.
So I honestly don't know.
>Put the responsibility back where it belongs: on BO/BVs.
That will likely never happen.
FJis on record as saying the status quo is where what works for the mod team. I agree with them.
I don't believe baker checks by a mod team are valid.
Anons are better at looking at a work history, and are more picky.
bakers reserving the right to choose a successor goes both ways.
>Anons will handle any 'vetting', and certainly not let a cabal of bakers do it for them.
I was just going to say somethign similar to this.
Id rather offer up a resume and let the anons (ie- whatver baker is on duty is also an anon) decide.
>open with > n++
have a good night bakers o7
