I am going to doing another range test for;
9%, 8%, 7%, and 6%
will find the bottom of the range and tell our codefags to use that (or just above -some buffer) for the lowest value in the random generator code
highest opacity level probably shouldnt be any higher than ~25%-30% as you begin to loose legibility of the underlying meme
