while i don't disagree with your description, at the minimum, it just means having a running working bread, not dueling spam battles…

we're at an unfortunate necessity to discuss difficult questions of management - and the new board provides an interesting experiment in that regard, because a new, assumedly authoritarian approach is taken, whereas apparently the fully open principle remains active on qr, as only in most extreme/illegal cases does mgmt intervene.
Thing is, i get it, normally i'm with the all open too: for principle, but also because moderation changes the dynamic (basically platform/publisher, same as for social media): if any shill can post what they want on board, then we can't be blamed for the content. Of course we are anyway, but that's still another question.
BUT, after years in this, it seems that there can be appeal to one principle, that parallels Q recommendations of thinking for oneself, and recognizing how vital that is to grasping the finer points of the crumbs as well : the obvious.
What is obvious cannot always easily be proven, if at all. But to a living human mind, the obvious is obvious.
In our situation, to me at least it is obvious that ebot is a nuisance, and so are plenty other less glaring shills. If i were to be moderator, i think i could work with a principle of separation of content and method/quantity: basically shiposting vs spam.
Shiposting: pretty much anything goes, have at it.
Spam: now here's where it gets trickier. But to take an easy example, those fucking redhead from behind 5pics posts that became sigils or something… never figured quite what's going on there, but damn, i'd just blast that so fast.
