There is a little more info to this, that may help some people here. The most part has been confirmed by Rep. Lou Gohmer, who was asked for info to assist the raid before it happened; this happened over the weekend in Frankfurt, Germany. This was done after obtaining the permission and cooperation of the German govt. The servers were seized and are in the possession of the administration and GOP.
Steps were taken deliberately to eliminate the possibility that Leftists working in the Pentagon and CIA could not interfere. That’s why the firings last week.

Have to think that Grenell is a key player in all this. He gets appointed as German Ambassador and then Acting DNI while at the same time still serving as German Ambassador. That's got to be an odd combo.
