Dr. Gottlieb Now Admits Cloth Masks Don’t Provide Protection Against Covid-19

Now it’s okay to say this?

Dr. Scott Gottlieb – former FDA Commissioner-turned-member-of-board-of-directors of Pfizer on Sunday said what we’ve known all along: Cloth masks do not protect against Covid.

“Cloth masks aren’t going to provide a lot of protection. That’s the bottom line. This is an airborne illness, we now understand that” Gottlieb said to Face the Nation host Margaret Brennan.

How many immunocompromised people died because they were lied to about the efficacy of cloth masks?

How many people were banned from social media for saying cloth masks don’t provide protection against Covid?

Scott Gottlieb also said that parents should decide if their children receive a COVID-19 booster.

“I certainly don’t think schools should be mandating boosters. I think this should be left up to the discretion of parents and their physicians. You know, it’s going to depend on the individual circumstance,” Gottlieb said during his interview on Face the Nation.

Far Left Mayor Demands Removal of Private, Iwo Jima Flag-Raising Mural

by Kay Smythe January 2, 2022

The Democratic Mayor of Salem, Oregon – Chuck Bennett – has ordered the removal of a private business owner’s mural depicting the iconic, patriotic flag-raising at Iwo Jima during WWII. The mural is painted on the side of Valley Roofing in Salem, Oregon, which is privately owned by local businessman Jon Taylor.

Taylor commissioned the mural from local artist Mario Jr. DeLeon. Many of Taylor’s friends and family have served in the U.S. military, and the piece was designed to honor them and other Americans who have and are currently serving.

Local veterans said of Taylor, “[he] does a lot for this community both personally and through his business. He is a true credit to our fine city and a shining example of the sort of person we should all want as a neighbor and community leader.”

Nevertheless, the City of Salem cited a single, anonymous complaint about the mural and demanded its removal.

Should the artwork not be removed, Taylor will initially be fined more than $200. The only alternative to removal of the mural and the fines associated was the city removing the piece and giving it, free of charge, to a local art group.

The news represents yet another example of extreme government overreach from Oregon’s far-left leadership.

The mural is painted directly onto the outer wall of the property owned by Taylor, so it is unclear how the city would remove the piece in order to give it to a currently unnamed art society without completely destroying Taylor’s building and business.

DeLeon, the artist, said, “Even when we help fight the wars, they don’t want us to be talking about our contribution.”

A petition to save the mural has already amassed around 7,000 signatures. The petition seeks to raise awareness of the city council’s harassment of local business owners, like Taylor, who seek to “beautify the city through both art and deeds.”

Mayor Bennett, a career politician, claims to be a supporter of the arts having served as a board member of a local theater and the Council for the Humanities. He came under recent scrutiny for failure to act as “far-right” and far-left groups clashed throughout his city. This led to an investigation of the local police force, the results of which still have not been made public.

In late 2021, Mayor Bennett announced that he would not be seeking reelection in 2022. However, he and other key decision makers such as Salem’s Ward 3 Councilor Trevor Phillips can decide to allow an exemption following the single complaint.

==Los Angeles Public Schools Cancelled Their Vaccine Mandate After 30,000 Kids Were Not Complying

By Cassandra Fairbanks

Published January 2, 2022 at 4:15pm

Los Angeles Unified Schools were planning to implement an extreme vaccine mandate for students but had to cancel it when 30,000 kids were not in compliance.

In September, the school board for the second-largest school district in the United States voted to mandate that students 12 and older be vaccinated by Jan. 10.

The district has now pushed their mandate back until the Fall because many did not comply.

“Los Angeles had planned to shift students who remained unvaccinated by Jan. 10 into its online school, City of Angels. Many worried about its ability to accommodate tens of thousands of new students at the start of the next semester and the disruption it would cause for staff and children,” USA Today reported.

Politico reports, “other U.S. districts in blue states are scaling back previous student mandate ideas, too. School leaders in Portland, Ore., tabled discussion this fall amid vigorous pushback, while New York and Chicago have taken a wait-and-see approach. Not only are they wary of mandate critics, but they also question whether they should impose a requirement before the Food and Drug Administration fully approves vaccines for their students — a threshold Los Angeles Unified didn’t wait for.”

NEWS 📰 — There will NOT be a vote on the student vaccine 💉 mandate at the Nov. 16 @PPSConnect School Board meeting. Update and further discussion. Good call. Better to get it right than be first! @OHAOregon @MultCoHealth

According to the Politico report, districts are looking at which students are least likely to be vaccinated and weighing if moving them to remote learning would help or harm.

“Districts elsewhere have weighed which students are most likely to be unvaccinated if a mandate is enforced, and the drawbacks of having those students learn under remote instruction,” Politico reported.

The report did not elaborate on what criteria or metrics that districts were looking at.

Serial Killer Who Targeted Women Now Being Housed in Women’s Prison Because They Are ‘Transgender’

By Cassandra Fairbanks

Published January 2, 2022 at 6:00pm

A male serial killer who targeted women, claiming to have killed nine, is now housed in a women’s prison after being transgender.

“Donna Perry,” born Douglas, has been transferred to the Washington Correctional Center for Women under new laws that allow gender self-identification.

Perry was convicted in 2017 of first degree murder for the violent slayings of prostitutes Yolanda Sapp, 26, Nicki Lowe, Nicki Lowe, 34, and Kathleen Brisbois, 38 in 1990. Though he was only prosecuted for three killings, he claims that there were nine.

The defense in Perry’s case actually had the audacity to claim that it was “Douglas Perry,” his former identity, who may have killed the women — not “Donna Perry,” his new identity.

The prosecution argued that it was likely Perry had fled to Thailand and underwent gender reassignment surgery in order to avoid suspicion for the murders.

Perry was sentenced to three life sentences without the possibility of parole.

A report from 4W explains that Perry was one of over 150 males who identify as female who were moved to the women’s prison.

“In December 2021, a female former inmate at the WCCW anonymously came forward and reported that the institution had been experiencing a wave of sexual assaults on vulnerable female inmates by trans-identified males who recieved transfers to the facility after identifying as female,” 4W reports.

“One such assault was committed by Princess Zoe Andromeda Love, a biological male with a criminal history that included the rape of a 12-year-old girl. Love sexually assaulted a developmentally disabled female inmate just prior to his release – at which point he allegedly began identifying as male again,” the report added.

The Marine Corps Is Rapidly Forcing Out Vaccine Refusers, As Promised

Konstantin Toropin

The Marine Corps has moved aggressively to discharge service members since its vaccine mandate deadline of Nov. 14, having reviewed most of the several thousand claims for religious exemptions and thus far granting none.

According to the Corps’ latest update, it has separated 206 Marines to date with the vaccine refusal discharge code.

The weekly updates from the branch show that the separations began with 103 Marines on the week of Dec. 16.

Conversely, the Air Force, whose vaccine deadline arrived on Nov. 2, announced it had only discharged 27 people for failing to get the shot that same week. Meanwhile, the Navy has not announced any discharges stemming from its vaccine mandate despite it sharing the same Nov. 14 deadline.

The rapid pace also extends to the review of claims for religious exemption. The Marines say that they have now reviewed and adjudicated 3,080 of the 3,192 requests – more than 96%.

In contrast, the Air Force’s last update said it had 4,652 religious requests in progress while the Navy’s update said it received 2,844 but didn’t specify how many have already been ruled on.

Requests for exemption are decided on by the Manpower and Reserve Affairs command headed by Lt. Gen. David Ottignon - a deputy commandant - and not a Marines’ direct commander.

No branch of the military has yet to approve a religious exemption for the COVID-19 vaccine, and spokespeople for the Navy and Marine Corps have previously told Military.com that neither branch has granted such an exemption for any vaccine in at least seven years.

The Marine’s vaccination rates have been notably lower than the rest of the branches. While the final figures for fully vaccinated service members at the time of their respective deadlines for the Navy, Army, and Air Force were around 96%, the Marine Corps reported a rate of 92%.

The removal of service members comes at a time when there has been growing conversation in the military about the danger the new Omicron variant poses to the armed forces and the need for booster shots.

The Pentagon announced this week that it is recommending the additional vaccine shot to everyone eligible at the Department of Defense. Troops, civilians and dependents who have completed an initial vaccination against COVID-19 either the one shot or two-shot series are eligible for a booster shot after six months.

On Dec. 20, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby told reporters that nearly 100,000 active-duty service members had already received boosters.

That announcement came amid reports that a Navy ship was fighting an outbreak of COVID-19. Part of the Navy’s response has been to recommend and offer the crew booster shots.

The Navy has not said whether the outbreak on the Milwaukee is from the highly contagious Omicron variant of the virus, but Kirby has said that "given its rapid spread in the United States, we would expect Omicron cases will continue to rise within DoD in the near term."

New Jersey Governor’s Wife Tests Positive For Covid after Returning From Holiday in Costa Rica

Democrat New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy’s wife, Tammy Murphy, tested positive for Covid-19 after the family returned from an 8-day Christmas trip to Costa Rica.

Murphy was harshly criticized for traveling to Costa Rica as Covid cases surged.

Governor Murphy has imposed some of the strictest Covid mandates on New Jersey residents while he jet-sets to other countries.

Only the peasants have to obey mandates and stay home while the elites travel to tropical locations.

Murphy and his family have taken 3 vacations in the last two months.

“The Governor and First Lady tested themselves due to a recent known non-family contact in their home. Required procedures for reporting, case investigation, and contact tracing have been followed,” Murphy’s office said in a statement Sunday.

Murphy and his four children have all tested negative for Covid.

Governor Murphy said he will not quarantine because he is vaccinated against Covid.

Indonesia Suspends Coal Exports To Secure Domestic Power Supply

Bloomberg

January 2, 2022

By Eko Listiyorini (Bloomberg) –Indonesia, one of the world’s top exporters of thermal coal, is pausing exports of the fuel in January to secure dwindling supplies for domestic power plants.

The monthlong halt is needed to prevent shutdowns at about 20 power plants in Java, Madura, Bali and other regions, the energy and mineral resources ministry said in a statement posted on its website. The lack of supply could have affected 10 million residential and industry customers and a decision on when to resume exports could come next week.

“When coal supply to power plants are fulfilled then all return to normal, exports will resume. We will evaluate everything after January 5,” Ridwan Djamaluddin, director general of minerals and coal, said in the statement. Out of 5.1 million tons of coal supply to power plants assigned by the government, only 35,000 tons or less than 1% were delivered as of Jan. 1.

Kumparan news portal reported the story earlier, citing a letter from Djamaluddin sent to all coal exporters. In the letter, the ministry ordered coal miners and exporters to divert coal from loaded ships at ports to power plants to prevent disruption to the national electricity system, Kumparan reported.

Indonesia estimates domestic coal production in 2022 of as much as 644 million tons, with domestic consumption forecast at 190 million tons.

The government has set a ceiling price for coal sold to local power plants at $70 per ton, while also requiring producers to supply at least 25% of their output to the domestic market. Firms that don’t comply could be prevented from exporting coal or fined.

Six Years Late And $2.8 Billion Over Budget Navy’s Costly Carrier Is Ready For Training And Operations

Bloomberg

January 2, 2022

By Tony Capaccio (Bloomberg) –The Navy’s costliest warship finally has all the elevators needed to lift bombs from below its deck so it can deploy on its first operational patrol — more than four and a half years after delivery.

The service has announced that the 11th and final Advanced Weapons Elevator is in place on the $13.3 billion USS Gerald R. Ford and the aircraft carrier is ready for training and operations.

“This is a significant milestone for the Navy, ship and her crew,” Rear Admiral James Downey, the Navy’s program executive officer for aircraft carriers, said in a statement. “We now have the entire system to operate and train with.” He said the service and the prime contractor, Huntington Ingalls Industries Inc., used “hundreds of craftsmen, technicians and engineers, working around the clock –through multiple underway and holiday periods — to get these advanced systems on line and operational.”

The Navy took delivery of the first in the Ford class of carriers in May 2017, praising the “newest, most capable, most advanced warship” and saying it was “expected to be operational in 2020.” The service didn’t disclose that none of the 11 elevators were operational, much less installed, until Bloomberg News reported the problem in November 2018.

“I recognize the extraordinary effort that it has taken to finish all 11 of these elevators, but this effort should not have been necessary,” Senator James Inhofe of Oklahoma, the top Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee and the most vocal congressional critic of the Navy on the issue, said in a statement.

The carrier ultimately was delivered “six years late and $2.8 billion over budget,” Inhofe said.

The delay to fix the elevators and resolve other issues “has lengthened a period during which the Navy is attempting to maintain policy maker-desired levels of carrier forward deployments with its 10 other carriers,” the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service said in a report this month.

Inhofe put it more bluntly. He said the delay has forced other ships and crews to deploy “longer and more often,” as well as causing gaps in the Navy’s global “presence when no carrier could deploy, at a time when naval presence and capability could not be more critical for our national security.”

Perhaps the only positive outcome of the weapons elevator delays is “development of what the Navy and the shipyard should have had from the very beginning — a Ford-class plan for the development, building, installation and operational training” that’s now needed to avoid such mistakes on the second ship in the four-vessel class, the USS John F. Kennedy, said Mike Fabey, author of “Heavy Metal: The Hard Days and Nights of the Shipyard Workers Who Build America’s Supercarriers.”

Defense Secretary Taking More Authority for Use of DC Guard

30 Dec 2021 Associated Press By Robert Burns

WASHINGTON — The Pentagon said Thursday it has streamlined the approval process for urgent use of National Guard forces in the District of Columbia, after months of study following the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.

The changes give the defense secretary sole authority to approve requests that would involve D.C. National Guard personnel participating in civil law enforcement or that would require their deployment within 48 hours, Pentagon press secretary John Kirby said in a written statement. That approval authority had previously been delegated to the Army secretary, the service's top civilian official.

The changes are intended to make the Pentagon better prepared to handle urgent requests for law enforcement support by civil authorities. After January's riot, the Pentagon came under criticism by some for a slow response to requests for Guard assistance, although a Defense Department inspector general review concluded that senior defense officials had acted appropriately before and during the riot.

The use of National Guard troops in the nation's capital is complicated by the fact that the usual chain of command headed by a governor does not apply because the district is not a state. Thus, the commanding general of the D.C. Guard reports to the president, although a 1969 executive order delegated control to the secretary of defense, who subsequently further delegated the authority to the Army secretary.

Kirby said Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has amended the previous arrangement so the defense secretary is the sole authority for approval in certain circumstances. The Army secretary remains authorized to control Guard operations in the district and to consider district government requests for use of the Guard in the city for non-law enforcement purposes and in nonurgent situations.

Austin said law enforcement activities include crowd control, traffic control, search, seizure, arrest or temporary detention.

It was not immediately clear how this policy change might have affected the response time on Jan. 6, when a mob of supporters of then-President Donald Trump swiftly and violently overran the Capitol Police, which was assisted by the Metropolitan Police Department, and interrupted the certification of Joe Biden’s election victory. Lawmakers ran for their lives as the rioters climbed through broken windows and doors at the Capitol.

Prior to the riot, then-Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy handled requests for Guard deployments in the district, initially from the commander of the D.C. Guard. McCarthy acted in consultation with more senior Pentagon officials, including Christopher Miller, the acting secretary of defense at the time, and Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Last spring, Austin ordered a review of how the Defense Department handles requests for support in the National Capital region, including approval authorities, request processes, planning, available forces, command relationships, staff support, and training exercises.

Based on that review, Austin amended the 1969 arrangement for handling certain requests for deployment of the Guard in the district, and he clarified the process by which federal and local agencies request assistance for both preplanned and time sensitive events in the district, Kirby said.

“By clarifying and refining the request process, including outlining the required information needed to assess requests from federal and local partners, the department will be able to respond to requests efficiently, quickly, and effectively,” Kirby said.

Statement by Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III

I tested positive this morning for COVID-19. I requested the test today after exhibiting symptoms while at home on leave.

My symptoms are mild, and I am following my physician’s directions.

In keeping with those directions, and in accordance with CDC guidelines, I will quarantine myself at home for the next five days.

Stemming the spread of this virus, safeguarding our workforce and ensuring my own speedy and safe recovery remain my priorities. To the degree possible, I plan to attend virtually this coming week those key meetings and discussions required to inform my situational awareness and decision making. I will retain all authorities. Deputy Secretary Hicks will represent me as appropriate in other matters.

I have informed my leadership team of my positive test result, as well as the President. My staff has begun contact tracing and testing of all those with whom I have come into contact over the last week.

My last meeting with President Biden occurred on Tuesday, December 21st, more than a week before I began to experience symptoms. I tested negative that very morning. I have not been in the Pentagon since Thursday, where I met briefly - and only - with a few members of my staff. We were properly masked and socially distanced throughout.

As my doctor made clear to me, my fully vaccinated status — and the booster I received in early October — have rendered the infection much more mild than it would otherwise have been. And I am grateful for that.

The vaccines work and will remain a military medical requirement for our workforce. I continue to encourage everyone eligible for a booster shot to get one. This remains a readiness issue.

Ted Cruz Says All His Haters Are Just Unable To Resist His Raw Sex Appeal

CANCUN—Tweeting while on a family vacation this week, Ted Cruz slammed his critics, claiming that those who hate on him are just sexually frustrated and unable to resist his raw sex appeal.

Cruz said that Democrats who are fixated on criticizing him all the time are obviously motivated by their "deranged sexual frustrations":

His tweet thread went on to claim that any criticism of him is really just from people who have a thing for husky, sexy, Cuban Americans with manly beards, the intense gaze of an antelope, and the raw strength of a Texan stallion. Those who hate on him, Cruz claimed, are just hypnotized by his speaking voice, the rich baritone notes mesmerizing its victims like sailors enticed by a siren's song. They are drawn to him, an alpha male whose powerful presence and distinct scent of a dusty Texas sunrise in September cause his haters to lash out in their unfulfilled desire.

AOC Claims Ron DeSantis Kidnapped Her And Held Her Hostage In Miami And Now She Is Dead

NEW YORK, NY—After photos emerged of AOC in South Florida enjoying brunch free of COVID restrictions and without wearing a mask, the congresswoman quickly clarified that she had actually been taken to Florida against her will by Governor Ron DeSantis.

"Ron DeSantis kidnapped me!" cried AOC to reporters. "He captured me and dragged me to Florida and held me hostage! And then he killed me. He killed me with Omicron. And now I am dead."

The media is now demanding answers from DeSantis. Additionally, the DOJ announced they will be sending resources to investigate the Florida governor for kidnapping and homicide.

"DeSantis is just another Republican who is creepily obsessed with AOC," said CNN anchor Brian Stelter between tearful sobs. "And he proved that by kidnapping and murdering her in cold blood. This is all Tucker Carlson's fault."

Further investigations found that AOC didn't actually die but was just knocked out from too many mimosas.

'You're Just Mad You Can't Date Me!' Shouts AOC To Confused Drive-Thru Worker At Arby's

MIAMI, FL—Congresswoman AOC has been spotted vacationing in Florida while her home state of New York experiences a large spike in Covid cases. AOC hasn’t taken the criticism well and has responded by taking out her frustration on a bewildered Arby’s drive-thru worker.

“You’re just mad you can’t date me!” AOC yelled when asked if she was ready to place her order yet. “Ugh, but whatever I guess I’ll take a number one combo with curly fries.”

“Ma’am, I’m sorry, but we are currently out of curly fries,” said the Arby’s cashier.

“NO YOU CAN’T HAVE PICTURES OF MY FEET, YOU CREEPY REPUBLICAN WEIRDO!” shouted AOC in response. “You need therapy, won’t do it, and then you take out your sexual frustrations on women of color like me! Unbelievable.”

“Um, ma’am this is an Arby’s,” replied the timid cashier while calmly trying to resolve the situation. Reports indicate that the Arby’s employee proceeded to provide alternative fry options, but the fed-up congresswoman finally sped off.

On her way out, another car flashed its lights to let her go in front, but she shouted “You think I don’t see what’s going on here? Well, I CLEARLY have a boyfriend already, and it’s so obvious that you are just a strange, deranged individual!”

Pennsylvania Democrat Commissioner Charged with Raping 15-Year-Old Boy

A Democrat elected official in Darby Township, Pennsylvania, has been arrested and charged with raping a 15-year-old boy.

According to investigators, on August 12, 2017, Smith was in his vehicle when he approached the boy and offered to give him a ride. Smith lured the boy by claiming to be a family friend, investigators claim.

When the boy got into Smith’s vehicle, Smith drove them to a park where he then allegedly raped the teen. Afterward, the boy told police that Smith dropped him off at an undisclosed location. The boy first filed a sexual assault complaint against Smith in April 2019 but an arrest warrant was not issued until November 22, 2021.

Smith remains listed as a Darby Township Commissioner on the local government’s website. Smith remains in police custody on a $100,000 bail.

In September 2020, following a summer of riots by Black Lives Matter activists, Smith shared a meme on his Facebook page that depicted two black men with guns drawn at a white police officer’s head with the caption, “Does it have to come to this to make them stop murdering and terrorizing us?”

As a result, Smith was stripped of his duties overseeing the region’s police department.
