Biden Pushing For Dishonourable Discharges, Court Martials For Troops Who Refuse Vaccines

The Biden administration is pushing for dishonourable discharges and even court martialing for troops who disobey orders to get COVID vaccines.

GOP Representative Mark Green of Tennessee proposed an amendment this week to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that would prohibit “any discharge but honorable” for troops who refuse vaccines.

The White House responded with a statement noting “The Administration strongly opposes section 716,” reasoning that it would “detract from readiness and limit a commander’s options for enforcing good order and discipline when a Service member fails to obey a lawful order to receive a vaccination.”

The statement added “To enable a uniformed force to fight with discipline, commanders must have the ability to give orders and take appropriate disciplinary measures.”

Responding to the statement, Rep. Green said “I am appalled that the Biden Administration is trying to remove my amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act that prevents anything but an honorable discharge for service members who refuse to get the COVID-19 vaccine.”

Green added “This was a bipartisan amendment — every Democrat on the House Armed Services Committee agreed to it.”

“No American who raises their hand to serve our Nation should be punished for making a highly personal medical decision,” Green previously urged.

Another section of the bill, 720, proposes that troops who have previously had COVID-19 should be exempted from a vaccine mandate. The Biden administration also opposes it, claiming it creates “a new and overly broad exemption from the vaccination requirement for previous infection that would undermine the effectiveness of the requirement.”

The House is expected to vote on the NDAA early Thursday morning.

As we have previously noted, there has been significant resistance to vaccine mandates among military service members.

Biden Regime to Release Info on Trump and Jan. 6 to Congress – Trump to Cite “Executive Privilege”

The Biden Regime is contemplating releasing information to Congress about what Trump and his inner circle were doing on January 6 during the Capitol protest.

Trump however said he will cite “executive privilege” to block requests from the Democrat-led House select committee.

“The highly partisan, Communist-style ‘select committee’ has put forth an outrageously broad records request that lacks both legal precedent and legislative merit,” Trump spokesman Taylor Budowich said in a statement. “Executive privilege will be defended, not just on behalf of President Trump and his administration, but also on behalf of the Office of the President of the United States and the future of our nation.”

According to the Washington Post, the Biden Regime will likely disclose the documents to Congress in an effort to harass Trump and create more legal problems for the former president.

The White House is leaning toward releasing information to Congress about what Donald Trump and his aides were doing during the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol despite the former president’s objections — a decision that could have significant political and legal ramifications.

Trump has said he will cite “executive privilege” to block information requests from the House select committee investigating the events of that day, banking on a legal theory that has successfully allowed presidents and their aides to avoid or delay congressional scrutiny for decades, including during the Trump administration.

But President Biden’s White House plans to err on the side of disclosure given the gravity of the events of Jan. 6, according to two people familiar with discussions who, like others, spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe the private discussions.

In response to the House panel’s request, the National Archives has already identified hundreds of pages of documents from the Trump White House relevant to its inquiry. As required by statute, the material is being turned over to the Biden White House and to Trump’s lawyers for review.

The committee’s Aug. 25 letter to the National Archives was both sweeping and detailed, asking for “all documents and communications within the White House on January 6, 2021, relating in any way” to the events of that day. They include examining whether the White House or Trump allies worked to delay or halt the counting of electoral votes and whether there was discussion of impeding the peaceful transfer of power.

The letter asked for call logs, schedules and meetings for a large group, including Trump’s adult children, son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner and first lady Melania Trump as well as a host of aides and advisers, such as his attorney Rudolph W. Giuliani.

Meanwhile, the House Democrats are simultaneously working on new legislation dubbed “Protecting Our Democracy Act” to be able to go after ex-presidents (Trump).

“The measure would limit a president’s pardon power, require presidential candidates to be transparent with their tax records, and extend a deadline for prosecuting former presidents and vice presidents for federal crimes committed before or during their time in office.” NBC News reported.

House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler popped off on Thursday and said once a president leaves office, the statute of limitations will have run out.

“This policy has turned presidency into a get-out-of-jail free card,” Nadler said.

The US special envoy to Haiti resigned in protest over the deportation of Haitians who illegally crossed into Del Rio, Texas.

Ambassador Daniel Foote was named envoy to Haiti in July and resigned on Wednesday.

Foote said Haiti is a “collapsed state” and not able to handle the returning migrants, Reuters reported.

“I will not be associated with the United States’ inhumane, counterproductive decision to deport thousands of Haitian refugees and illegal immigrants,” Foote said in a letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken that circulated on Thursday.

Nearly 15,000 Haitians illegally crossed the Rio Grande into Texas last week and created a makeshift migrant camp dubbed ‘Bidenville.’

The Biden Administration claimed it was deporting Haitians camped out at Del Rio and flying them back to their homeland.

A few flights have deported Haitians to Port-au-Prince – but the majority of Haitians are either camped out in Texas or have been released into the US.

Only 1,401 migrants have been returned to Haiti.

Hunter Biden Tried To Charge Libya $2 Million To Recover Billions Frozen By Obama Administration: New Emails

Four years after Hillary Clinton famously said of executed Libyan leader Mummar Qaddafi "We came, we saw, he died," Hunter Biden, son of then-Vice President Joe Biden, offered to recover roughly $15 billion in assets which had been frozen by the Obama administration - for the tidy sum of $2 million dollars per year.

In emails obtained by Business Insider that are not related to the laptop fiasco, the $2 million would have been for a "retainer" plus "success fees."

The first email, dated January 28, 2015, was sent from Sam Jauhari, a Democratic donor with businesses in the Persian Gulf, who was helping spearhead the Libya project. It was addressed to Sheikh Mohammed al-Rahbani, another Obama campaign donor involved in the proposal. In the email, Jauhari is frank about what Biden would bring to the table, and what he says Biden wanted in return:

"Per phone conversation I met with #2 son. He wants $2 per year retainer +++ success fees. He wants to hire his own people - it can be close circle of people for confidentiality. His dad is deciding to run or not.

His positives are he is Chairman of UN World Food Program, son of #2 who has Libya file, access to State, Treasury, business partner SofS [Secretary of State] J. [John] Forbes K [Kerry] son and since he travels with dad he is connected everywhere in Europe and Asia where M. Q. [Muammar Qaddafi] and LIA [Libya Investment Authority] had money frozen. He said he has access to highest level in PRC [China], he can help there.

His negatives are that he is alcoholic, drug addict - kicked [out] of U.S. Army for cocaine, chasing low class hookers, constantly needs money-liquidity problems and many more headaches.

We should meet in Gstraad or London to decide next steps."

Jauhari was incorrect that Biden was discharged from the Army - it was the Navy, and it was technically never confirmed that his positive test for cocaine was what led to the discharge.

Unpacking the email, BI's Mattahias Schwartz notes: "the tally of his "positives" reflects a keen sense of what he could offer the project. Biden's position at the United Nations meant he enjoyed face-to-face access to heads of state. In his memoir, Biden recalls a sit-down with King Abdullah II of Jordan. "The only reason the king had agreed to meet," he wrote, "was out of respect for my dad. I guess you could chalk it up to nepotism, in the best possible way.""

New York's New Gov Threatens To Replace Unvaccinated Hospital Workers With 'Foreigners'

New York's first female governor Kathy Hochul, who took the reins in the Empire State after her predecessor and former boss, Andrew Cuomo, finally resigned, is showing the state's recalcitrant healthcare workers just how understanding and progressive she can be.

During a press briefing with reporters in Rochester Wednesday, Hochul told a group of reporters that she hoped all unvaccinated workers would meet Monday's deadline to get the jab, or lose their jobs.

For those who continue to resist - including nearly 20% of the state's hospital and nursing-home workers - they will be replaced. Possibly by foreign workers.

Faced with this, it makes sense to wonder how NY State, which has no immigration-related authority, could even credibly make such a threat? But Hochul says there have been conversations with the Department of State (albeit on a "limited basis") about the possibility of doling out emergency visas to foreign workers.

"To those who won’t, we’ll be replacing people. And I have a plan that’s going to be announced very shortly," she said.

"We’ve identified a whole range of opportunities we have to help supplement them."

Hochul said state officials were “working closely with various hospital systems to find out where we can get other individuals to come in and supplement places like nursing homes."

"We’re also reaching out to the Department of State to find out about visas for foreign workers, on a limited basis, to bring more nurses over here," she said.

Per the Department of Health's records, 19% of the state's hospital workers remained unvaccinated as of Sept. 15, and 18% of nursing home employees remained unvaccinated as of Wednesday.

Starting Monday, employers can fire unvaccinated workers who don't have a "valid medical exemption" (though employees who claim religious exemption are also immune until Oct. 12 due to a temporary injunction issued by a federal judge in Utica).

The plaintiffs in that case, almost all of them Catholic, oppose vaccines because they "employ aborted fetus cell lines in their testing, development, or production."

Though the US Conference of Bishops says it's okay for Catholics to take these vaccines if no alternatives are available, and Pope Francis has of course spoken out in favor of vaccination.

Circling back to the situation in New York, while Hochul is probably reveling in her first opportunity to play "hardball" - a game for which her predecessor was famous - New York health workers can probably rest easy - at least when it comes to the foreign worker threat.

The State Department couldn't process all those SIVs for Afghan collaborators in a timely manner. What makes you think they'll be able to dole them out to foreign workers, who probably also haven't been vaccinated. Where does Hochul think these foreign workers are going to come from? Europe?

Project Amplify: Mark Zuckerberg Reportedly Approved Secret Project to Propagandize Facebook Users

Facebook reportedly conducted a secret campaign to push more positive content about the platform – some written internally – via its users’ ‘News Feeds’ in a bid to counter the effects of negative media coverage on its reputation.

The social media giant’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg apparently personally approved the initiative – dubbed ‘Project Amplify’ – in August, despite Facebook executives being shocked by the idea when it was proposed at a meeting in January, according to the New York Times.

Since being approved in August, Facebook has reportedly trialed the initiative in three unidentified US cities using a tool called ‘Quick Promotes’ that pushed positive stories about the company and its products on the network’s most important feature, News Feeds.

The site’s users in these cities would see posts with the Facebook logo that linked to stories and websites published by the company and on third-party local news sites. For instance, one such story with the headline ‘Facebook’s Latest Innovations for 2021’ detailed how it was pursuing “100% renewable energy for our global operations.”

According to the newspaper, this is the first time Facebook has explicitly promoted positive press about itself. The report links the campaign to a “multi-pronged effort” adopted since that January meeting to “aggressively reshape its image” by distancing Zuckerberg from scandals, reducing access to internal data, hiding potentially negative reports, and developing more ad campaigns about itself.

In contrast to its previously apologetic response to scandals such as the Cambridge Analytica data leak, Facebook’s PR strategy has become increasingly combative in recent months – during, for instance, its response to a Wall Street Journal report last week about the existence of a shadowy internal system that protected millions of high-profile Facebook users from its content-moderation practices.

After a barrage of criticism, including from former US President Donald Trump, Facebook VP of Global Affairs Nick Clegg published a blog post that called out the publication for “deliberate mischaracterizations,” alleging that it “conferred egregiously false motives” on company officials.

Facebook’s VP of Integrity Guy Rosen and spokesperson Andy Stone also took to tweeting about the article and publication, claiming there was “no news here” and saying the company had talked about the existence of the so-called ‘Cross check’ system “for years.”

In July, Rosen pushed back against President Biden’s contention that the social network was “killing people” by spreading Covid-19 misinformation. In a blog post, he accused the Biden administration of “finger pointing” and said Facebook was “not the reason” the White House missed its goal of vaccinating “70% of Americans” by the US Independence Day holiday.

However, claims emerged in August that Facebook had suppressed a transparency report for the first quarter of 2021, which stated a story that could be seen as promoting vaccine hesitancy was the most-viewed link on the platform in that period, on the grounds that it would reflect poorly on the company’s efforts to tackle Covid misinformation.

“The Secretary [Mayorkas] conveyed to civil rights leaders [Al Sharpton] earlier this morning that we would no longer be using horses in Del Rio – so that is a policy change that has been made in response,” Psaki said.

Workers Without Vaccine Passport Won’t be Paid in Italy

Under the new mandatory vaccine decree for public and private businesses, the Italian government has announced that unvaccinated workers will have their pay withheld, but they will not be suspended or fired.

The government decree will order an estimated 23 million Italian public and private sector workers to present the coronavirus passport known as the Green Pass to be eligible to work.

Some had expressed concern the decree would force those without the Green Pass to be suspended or fired. But on Wednesday, officials announced that while those who do not comply with the mandate will not be able to come to work, they will only be considered to have taken an unjustified absence and have pay withheld, Il Giornale reports.

The obligation for Italian workers to show the Green Pass will start on October 15th and be enforced until December 31st.

According to the newspaper La Repubblica, companies with fewer than 15 employees can suspend staff without the Green Pass for up to ten days and the suspension is renewable during the enforcement period.

Green Passes can also be validated by proof of a negative test result. However, the government has also stated that it will not pay for coronavirus tests for those who wish to take them instead of the vaccine to maintain their eligibility for the Green Pass. Pharmacies instead will be charging €15 (£12.88/$17.61) for adults for a test and €8 (£6.87/$9.39) for minors.

The Green Pass will be valid for 12 months. For those who have recovered from the virus, their Green Pass is issued on the administration of the first vaccine dose while others must wait until they have had both doses.

Last week it was reported that those who are found working without the Green Pass could face fines of up to €1,500 (£1,288/$1,761) which could apply to both business and employees alike. The Green Pass, which also tracks where a person has been, has been criticised by some who claim the tracking of location data is a breach of privacy rules.

Texas Secretary Of State’s Office Announces Full Forensic Audit Of 2020 General Election in Four Texas Counties

AUSTIN (CBSDFW.COM) – The Texas Secretary of State announced on Thursday, September 23 it will conduct a full and comprehensive forensic audit of any election and has already begun the process in Texas’ two largest Democrat counties and two largest Republican counties—Dallas, Harris, Tarrant, and Collin—for the 2020 election.

In a statement sent to CBS 11, it said in part: Under existing Texas laws, the Secretary of State has the authority to conduct a full and comprehensive forensic audit. We anticipate the Legislature will provide funds for this purpose.

Earlier in an open letter to Texas Governor Greg Abbott, Former President Donald Trump has backed House Bill 16(PDF) that calls for a “review of the results of the 2020 general election.”
