Thanks for pointing this out. I'm not going to delete the version I recorded (yet), because the changes are not so bad as to consider the version I recorded false, and the book doesn't really get interesting till we get past his early years of sappy letter writing to women he never beds, anyway. And the removal of some things doesn't make what was left in unreliable.
I do, however want to redo the book in my marginally improved speaking voice, and this is a fine enough reason to do so. Expect gradual replacement of chapters. Disappointing that the version I read is also the version I have in hardback
I forgot to record chapter 3, "Getting on with the Job", so I just did, and uploaded it as "04.1" so it would land in the right place amidst the files.
Ok, because I just can't stop fucking with what I've already completed, I redid parts 2, 3, and 5. I didn't like how sleepily I was enunciating on those recordings, and it was evidently turning others off from listening. But I'm done now. No more "Into the Darkness" for me.

Sounds good, man, keep going. I don't think it really matters if you do commentary, but I won't discourage you from doing so. Linder does it because he hosts his own stuff, so he has to keep it legal in order to keep it available.
