Thanks, anons. I appreciate your voices of confidence. Whoever it is that does become the next BO should do only the minimum, like maybe enforcing spoilers for NSFW content and deleting clearly obvious reported spam, while keeping open a channel for communication and concerns, and be as transparent as possible. We do not need another imkampfy, nor do we need 4chin trannyjannies nor does /pol/ need a tightly ran nepotistic group with clearly biased moderation. What /pol/ should have is a very openly communitarian organization, a sort of order out of chaos, as anons are from all over this world. It should not be a political /b/ but it should also not be so heavily moderated that anons will get banned for posting political ideas contrary to moderation ideology, which will lead others back to 4chin trannyjannies and also towards different boards, ultimately forcing users to split up. I have no dog in this race, only offers of unbiased moderation and openness to the community, which only arose because I saw that thread with the other tripfaggot who wanted to remove and anchor old content and randomly target what it perceived as bait. I hope that whoever does become the BO will realize that it is not about the BOs ego nor ideology nor about their religion, but about providing that digital town square space for anons to be able to spread their ideas, whether collwctive, memetic or individuated. Illegal content should take priority, as well as making sure that anons voices are allowed to comfortably express themselves. It is a delicate line to walk, as it does define the future for the board. I will not be bothered if I do not become BO, for I only hope that others are allowed their freedoms for expression and speech. As mentioned, one of the benefits and beauty of 8chan/kun is the ability to create your own boards. There will always be tools for us to voice ourselves, although, unfortunately, these tools are too often attempted to be shut down by wellfunded groups with ill intentions for domination.
