Update on COMEX Silver cash for trash payments: $303,550,000-March 9th transactions

Here is what was done with the EFP 'process' yesterday-March 9th-cap #1

*An exchange for physical trade (EFP) is a privately negotiated and simultaneous exchange of a futures position for a cash position.

2335 contracts for May delivery= 11,675,000/ozs of paper Ag exchanged for cash.

Taking the mid point of yesterday @ about $26 gives you $303,550,000 in cash delivered for those contracts.

https://www.cmegroup.com/markets/metals/precious/silver.volume.options.html#optionProductId=458

About $3.83B in 8 trading days basically given to Bank of America-again no one is mentioning this-they are fixated on the deeper #'s-namely the same Banks bailing out each other so with "deliveries" that are largely not occurring

The system spent $12.56B on the COMEX Ag yesterday March 9th-cap#2

96,619 contracts x 5000/ozs per contracts =483,095,000/ozs of paper Silver using the average price of $26 gives you:$12,560,470,000to drop the price on March 9th

Kamala Harris arrives in Poland amid controversy over fighter jets for Ukraine

Kamala Harris landed in Warsaw late Wednesday on the first leg of her trip to Poland and Romania — dropping right into the middle of a controversy over the US rejecting an offer from Poland to transfer Soviet-era fighter jets to Ukraine via an American air base in Germany. The Polish government announced Tuesday it had offered to deploy 28 MiG-29 jets to Ramstein Air Base for the US to take possession of and offer to the Kyiv government. However, the Pentagon said the offer “raises serious concerns” and rejected it as not “tenable.”

Rio Tinto slashes ties with Russian businesses over Ukraine war

Rio Tinto (RIO.L), (RIO.AX) on Thursday became the first major mining company to announce it was cutting all ties with Russian businesses, joining a raft of leading Western companies in a pullout following Moscow's invasion of Ukraine.

The global miner has previously said it has no operational assets or employees to pull out of Russia, or Ukraine, but the move comes as Western firms come under increasing pressure to exit Russia since the invasion began on Feb. 24. Leading U.S. companies like McDonald's, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola and Starbucks stopped trading with Russia this week, offering a united rebuke of the war on Ukraine. Moscow describes its actions there as a "special operation". read more

"Rio Tinto is in the process of terminating all commercial relationships it has with any Russian business," a Rio spokesman said in a message sent to Reuters. It wasn't immediately clear with which companies Rio has done business in Russia. The announcement from the Anglo-Australian firm comes after a top executive said on Wednesday the company was looking for alternative fuel sources for its Mongolian copper operations at Oyu Tolgoi, but did not believe it can stop buying from Russia altogether. read more

The company did not immediately respond to questions on whether it would continue to buy Russian fuel and other products through non-Russian third parties. The miner owns an 80% stake in Queensland Alumina Ltd (QAL) in a joint venture with Russia's Rusal International PJSC (RUAL.MM), the world's second-largest aluminum producer. The company did not comment on how its decision to cut ties with Russian businesses would affect Queensland Alumina dealings with Rusal.

Rusal purchased its 20% stake in Australia's second-largest refinery processing alumina, the chemical compound that contains aluminium, in 2005 from Kaiser Aluminum (KALU.O). In 2018 Rusal was covered by U.S. sanctions against Russian businessmen and companies. Queensland Alumina was not affected by those sanctions and isn't affected so far by curbs put in place since the Ukraine invasion began.

Rio has said previously that it was actively reviewing any existing commercial ties to Russia across its global business.

Japan sends plane full of defense equipment to Ukraine

Japan dispatched an Air Self-Defense Force KC-767 transport aircraft to Poland on Tuesday night, to provide bulletproof vests and other SDF equipment to Ukraine. To support the embattled country, which has been fighting invading Russian forces, the provision of defense equipment was officially approved at National Security Council ministerial meetings earlier in the day. The equipment included bulletproof vests, helmets and cold-weather clothing. The operational guidelines for the Three Principles on Transfer of Defense Equipment and Technology were revised to allow the provision of bulletproof vests.

‘Pathetic shrieks’: Putin foreign minister Lavrov dismissive of global outrage over Russian attacks on civilians in Ukraine

Russia’s foreign minister is dismissing concerns about Russian military attacks on civilians, including on a maternity hospital, as “pathetic shrieks” from its enemies.

Sergey Lavrov met his Ukrainian counterpart in Turkey on Thursday in the highest-level Russian-Ukrainian talks since the war began last month.

In the Russian government’s first public comment on Wednesday’s strike on a maternity hospital in the besieged city of Mariupol, Lavrov didn’t deny or shy away from responsibility for the attack.

He claimed the site had earlier been seized by Ukrainian far-right radical fighters who were using it as a base. Even though there were many images of civilians wounded in the attack and the city council said a child was among the three people killed, Lavrov claimed all the patients and nurses were moved of the hospital before the assault.

Lavrov said Russia was ready for more negotiations but showed no sign of softening Moscow’s stance in the dispute.

London’s nickel market will stay closed at least until next week, a person familiar with the exchange said, giving the London Metal Exchange more time to resolve a crisis caused by a huge loss-making trade originating in China. The LME paused trading in nickel Tuesday, the first time it had suspended a market since 1985. The exchange had said trading might resume as early as Friday. However, the LME failed to alert traders by 2 p.m. London time that the market would reopen, signaling that no trading in nickel would take place at least until Monday.

A measure of rents in the U.S. posted the largest monthly increase in three decades, underscoring an increasingly high cost of living that’s poised to contribute even more to inflation this year. The index for rent of primary residence increased 0.6% in February from the prior month, the most since 1987, according to Bureau of Labor Statistics data released Thursday. It was part of an acceleration across the broader shelter category, which accounted for more than 40% of the monthly increase in an index of consumer prices excluding food and energy.

Goldman Becomes First Major Bank To Abandon Russia

Earlier this month, Goldman Sachs began moving some of its Moscow-based employees to Dubai, following requests by some to be relocated; but now, the bank has become the first Wall Street firm to announce it plans to close all of its operations in Russia. “Goldman Sachs is winding down its business in Russia in compliance with regulatory and licensing requirements. We are focused on supporting our clients across the globe in managing or closing out pre-existing obligations in the market and ensuring the well-being of our people.”

The closing of the office is more symbolic than anything else as Bloomberg notes that at the end of 2021, the firm’s total credit exposure to Russia was $650 million, most of which was tied to non-sovereign counterparties or borrowers. Additionally, Goldman will continue to make markets in Russian corporate debt but will not take positions..“In our role as market-maker standing between buyers and sellers, we are helping our clients reduce their risk in Russian securities which trade in the secondary market, not seeking to speculate.”

We suspect Goldman will not be the last as Citi has already announced it is 'assessing operations' in Russia

02-4452 USAFSOC C-32B on ground at Monterey Regional Airport not a usual destination for this at all

It has been on the ground for about 2 hours from it's McGuire AFB departure earlier today

The "old" Fort Ord here part of land located just to the ne of the AC and a portion of this is still berry active: Defense Language Institute located here.

Plenty of other stories could tell 'bout it

7th infantry division used to use it and that went back all the way to 1917

Incidentally Hussein designated this as Fort Ord National Monument in 2012-so as usual practice it was still being used cause there were a lot of spoopy things going on here.

It also the location of Laguna Seca Raceway (or whatever corporate name it has nao)

Used to house Japanese during the internment days as well-used to still have the old bldgs from that located at the eastern end of that land area gone since late 90's though.

There are tons of "doors"-a few of them fake (checked them before and you'll see the response rec'd for dong that below) sticking out of sides of the mountains-and these are most certainly not all weapon/artillery storage facilities (there are many located here but way too many of them for it to be just those).

Those are clearly marked and the mounds make it obvious-talking about a normal cliff or hill with a door which is NOT normal at all

Also if you so much as strayed as much as foot off the road (entering and exiting the track from the back side-cause you used to be able to get to it from other than the front gate) a black SUV would meet you within a matter of minutes with some berry pissed off non uniformed (but supposed to be) Military personnel-this all at a supposedly "inactive" military base.

Closed during the Clinton Admin.culling of bases in 1994

Lotsa strange noises at night here (underground)

One of the dumbest thing ever seen't dhere was dis: they had barbed-wire across the roads you were not supposed to travel on-the land the track on is operated by the County-but almost every single one of the road blocks using said barbed wire had handles on dhem- so not much of a deterrent at all.

Exxon Reportedly Weighing $5 Billion Sale Of Assets In North Dakota's Bakken

The asset sales at Exxon look to be continuing as the company continues its transformation from its worst year in history, 2020, into the free cash flow generating, deleveraged juggernaut it is quickly becoming thanks to oil in the triple digits and management's strategic initiatives.

Today, the latest brick in the strategic initiative wall is that Exxon is reportedly considering selling its assets in North Dakota’s Bakken after buyers reportedly took interest, according to Reuters and Bloomberg.

The properties could be valued at up to $5 billion, the report says. The company is currently far along in the process, with the report noting that it is "in the final round of interviewing bankers to help launch the sale process". This move would go to compliment Exxon's goal of $15 billion in asset sales that it set several years ago.

The company's financial reshaping is starting to accelerate. Recall, last month we noted that Exxon was implementing a new $10 billion stock buyback after crushing its last quarter's estimates. Exxon reported Q4 revenue of $84.97 billion, beating expectations of $76.67BN by more than $10 billion! It reported adjusted EPS of $2.05, above analysts forecast of $1.93 as operating profit in oil and gas production soared. In the same quarter a year ago, Exxon posted an adjusted profit of just three cents a share.

As Bloomberg said last month, in 2021, "Exxon garnered ample cash to repair its balance sheet, pay the S&P 500 Index’s third-largest dividend and pledge to restart share buybacks. It’s a remarkable financial turnaround for the oil giant a year after it incurred its first annual loss in at least 40 years during the darkest days of the pandemic."

The company also announced in January it would be combining its chemical and refining units as part of a plan to cut costs and find new efficiencies.

Effective April 1, the company is going to be split into three segments: ExxonMobil Upstream Company, ExxonMobil Product Solutions and ExxonMobil Low Carbon Solutions. They will be supported by ExxonMobil Technology and Engineering, the report says. Days prior to its HQ change announcement, we reported that the company said it planned on reaching its target for net zero emissions by 2050. The pledge applies to Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions, we wrote. The company said it had "identified more than 150 potential steps and modifications that can be applied to assets in its upstream, downstream and chemical operations." We're guessing this corporate action is part of the "master plan". Exxon Chief Executive Officer Darren Woods said earlier this month: “We are developing comprehensive roadmaps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from our operated assets around the world." Exxon says it is “working with [its] partners to achieve similar emission-reduction results”. In December, we noted that Exxon was on track to meet its 2025 emissions goals 4 years in advance. In Exxon's full plan, which can be found on its website here, the company said it "plans to increase spending to $15 billion on greenhouse gas emission-reduction projects over the next six years while maintaining disciplined capital investments."

Mkt Fag: Market Report March 10th 2022

As an aside before da meat-you may ask why did pepe start doing these again....or not

I noes the regulars know all this namely that we have completely fake and manipulated markets but the death cross set-ups were a comin' and will trigger even moar selling that Janet and the PPT cannot counter. The system starts to eat themselves via margin calls and as already stated before-the cheering of 'Ban Muh Russia' will evaporate once the realization that the world's economies cannot escape the inter-conectivity that they sold as being so vital to "democratic principles". A few circuit breaker days will do that and the only reason they have not habbened are J-J-J Janet and the inkjets 'stick saves that keep it from continuing to crater.

The adherence to being woke will be a side-show when they start to realize that the inflation genie is unable to be contained no matter what the FOMC does. This is slowly habbening with the gas price increases-over $6 for low grade as of today.

Janet's stick save on the NASDAQ LOD-and as already pointed out 2 minues before the European close...let's not make it obvious nao!!- was worth approx. 174.22 pts on the NAS and they still couldn't get it green. The NAS had the death cross few weeks ago-Feb 16th I believe and then got i's "bump" so that is the reason we habs focused on the DOW with that as it is still in progress-Cap#3 Mr. Death is now a permanent guest on the Dow and it was the salmon mousse.... The SP500 is about to do the same-Cap #4-and that has a little representation of our economy (most of the market does NOT represent anything other than HFT bots trading back and forth however the SP500 is the best indicator of what we have...wut we have is disconnected from reality and has been for a very long time. Consider it the 'shiniest turd in the bowl-bu that will not go unnoticed. This is important becasue every single trader (who pays attention) cannot ignore all three indicies signaling the death cross. Unless they get a YUGE monster rally the selling will pick up in a BIG way once the SPX completes it.

Of note-you've seen the actions in the metals-the billions of $'s to contain Silver becasue of the massive short positions-it is detailed on a daily basis in here. It will not surprise me if Ag continues to be driven bto the low $20's or even the high teens-completed easily with the COMEX contract sales-you all remember what they did with Oil futs at -$40...easily done with literally any commodity, equity or any financial product. The real issue wil be obtaining any physical metal-local dealer is cleaned out-just some scrap chains and a few odd buffalo rounds available-there are NO sellers. This is why Bank of America is currently in the COMEX purchasing contracts (remember the physical portion of those leases are not even on the COMEX it is all OTC derivative crap) so they are generating the money to "pay-off" JP Morgan becasue there is no way they can deliver those lease quantities.

Here is something that was issued on March 7th by the CME Group as a Special Executive Report (cap #5) and although it states the already released news of the suspension of Russian Delivery participants what this is setting up is the ability of the CME Group to declare Force Majuere which will basically shut the COMEX down-this is next for other dealers and "brands" so don't think this will only be specific to Muh Russia as they are setting up for a system wide default.

INDIA1 PM Modi on final at Bagdogra Airport from Aizawl Airport

PM Modi Congratulates AAP For Historic Win In Punjab, Assures Centre's Support
