Well unfortunately this is yet another case of a rising tide lifts all boats.

It has been on weak uptrend YTD until March 4th.

I usually do not give out advice on individual stocks but I hope you are aware that almost every single equity has many moar shares outstanding (issued through fuckery) than they have actually issued-this is a market-wide phenomenon.

I think it was Heinz that was taken private (one of many they have done) in the mid 90's and when it was time for all the shares to be tendered there were 25% moar shares that 'showed' up for sale.

What I've described in the Ag COMEX paper market is basically a representation of what habbens in ALL markets.

You can thank the DTCC for allowing that cause they don't clear prolly up to 70% now-was lower before-of all daily trades because if they did what I described above (moar shares exist and traded than really issued) it would have been exposed long ago.

China Welcomes Russian Oil Tankers With Alternative Payment Options

By Chen Aizhu (Reuters) – Chinese refiners are paying for Russian crude oil using cash transfers to maintain imports from Russia’s Fast East, as banks shy away from financing the oil because of sanctions, sources with knowledge of the matter said.

Global oil prices LCOc1 have soared to their highest in a decade as banks halted financing Russian oil after the United States and other countries ramped up sanctions on Moscow following its invasion of Ukraine.

Spot crude premiums and freight rates also spiked, piling on buyers’ costs.

Several European and U.S. refiners have stopped buying Russian oil this week, even though Washington said Russian oil and gas are exempted from sanctions.

But Chinese buyers are looking to maintain purchases of ESPO Blend crude exported from Russia’s Far East Kozmino port using other payment methods as they cannot secure letters of credit from banks, trade sources said.

“For those done deals, payments are being sorted out with buyers doing Telegraphic Transfer as bank financing becomes very difficult,” said a Singapore-based Chinese trading executive.

Telegraphic transfer, equivalent to cash pre-payment, requires buyers to transfer funds to sellers up front, a challenge for some cash-strapped independent refiners with each Aframax tanker-sized cargo now costing more than $85 million, the sources said.

Some sellers are providing open credit, but this raises their risk exposure, they added.

Sources said the cash settlements still need to go through the SWIFT messaging system to Russian banks which are not on the U.S. sanction list, said two trading executives with knowledge of the situation.

ESPO blend is popular among China’s independent refiners because of its short voyage time from Russia, availability on a spot basis, and good fuel yield.

Russia is the world’s No. 2 crude exporter, with exports reaching 7.8 million barrels per day in December, the International Energy Agency said.

Last year China imported 575,000 barrels per day of ESPO shipped by tankers, some 6% of total Chinese crude oil imports, with the majority processed by independent refiners, according to tanker tracker Vortexa Analytics.

State refining major Sinopec 0386.HK is a key buyer and trader of seaborne ESPO.

Sinopec’s trading vehicle Unipec, which rivals Vitol as the world’s top oil trader, typically has large open credit lines with suppliers that allow the major to pay a month after a shipment is loaded.

Unipec has bought as many as eight ESPO cargoes for April loading, traders said.

Sinopec did not immediately comment on how the firm pays for its purchases.

One independent refiner who buys ESPO crude said the company can only use telegraphic transfer (TT) to pay for the oil, and that financing costs are now high because oil prices have surged and there is no longer a credit period for repayment.

“We can only use TT for now,” the buyer said. “Previously with LCs, we had a credit period of 30 days. But now we have to pay up front.”

“Refining margins are poor, too,” the source added.

With oil near $120 a barrel, allowing teapots to pay after oil is delivered magnifies risk exposure for a trading company.

Sellers may well ask refiners to provide cash or part of the cargo as collateral, traders said.

“Whichever way, we believe China’s ESPO influx will continue as teapots don’t have many other options, as prices of competing supplies like West African oil went sky-high,” said a second Singapore-based executive with an independent refiner.

Spot premiums of West African and Brazilian crude for May delivery jumped to $9-$10 a barrel above dated Brent this week in volatile trade, a buyer said.

Adding to refiners’ costs are surging freight rates, which have nearly doubled over the week to $900,000 per day for an Aframax tanker sailing from Russia’s Kozmino port to north China, the highest since May 2020, according to traders and Refinitiv data.

China separately buys 800,000 bpd of Russian oil via pipelines under a government-to-government deal between state energy giant CNPC and Russian oil major Rosneft. The pipeline flows remained unaffected, Chinese oil officials have said.

China has repeatedly voiced opposition to the sanctions, calling them ineffective and insisting it will maintain normal economic and trade exchanges with Russia.

Japan downgrades Q4 GDP on consumer spending miss

Japan's strong economic growth in the final quarter of 2021 was downgraded in a revised estimate on Wednesday, while pressures from record COVID-19 infections and rising energy costs are heightening risks of a contraction this quarter.

The downwardly revised growth is bad news for policymakers tasked with keeping the country's fragile recovery on track as a jump in commodity prices due to the Ukraine crisis and persistent supply disruptions heighten economic uncertainty.

Revised gross domestic product (GDP) data released by the Cabinet Office on Wednesday showed Japan expanded an annualized 4.6% in October-December. That was lower than economists' median forecast for a 5.6% gain and the preliminary reading of 5.4% released last month.

On a quarter-on-quarter basis, GDP expanded 1.1%, falling short of the median market expectations for a 1.4% gain.

Private consumption, which makes up more than a half of Japan's GDP, increased 2.4% in October-December from the previous quarter, revised down from an initially-estimated 2.7% gain.

Domestic demand as a whole contributed 0.9 of a percentage point to revised GDP figures, while net exports added 0.2 of a percentage point.

Economists in a Reuters poll last week forecast annualized growth of 0.4% in the January-March quarter, slashing their previous projections given rapid Omicron coronavirus variant infections and uncertainties caused by the war in Ukraine.

First, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro declined to condemn the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Then, India followed suit - as the Modi government attempted to balance its historic ties with Moscow and its strategic partnership with Washington. Now, Saudi and UAE leaders are refusing to take Biden's calls as the US president tries to contain surging oil prices, according to the Wall Street Journal, which adds that the Persian Gulf monarchies have signaled "they won’t help ease surging oil prices unless Washington supports them in Yemen, elsewhere." "There was some expectation of a phone call, but it didn’t happen," said one US official of a planned discussion between Biden and the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. "It was part of turning on the spigot [of Saudi oil]."

The U.A.E.’s Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan also ghosted Biden in recent weeks according to Middle East and US officials.

Yet, both Prince Mohammed and Sheikh Mohammed took phone calls from Russian President Vladimir Putin after declining to speak with Biden, according to the WSJ. They also spoke with Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky. Biden was able to get through to Prince Mohammed's 86-year-old father on Feb. 9, however the U.A.E.’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the call between Mr. Biden and Sheikh Mohammed would need to be rescheduled, according to the report.

As the Journal notes, "The Saudis have signaled that their relationship with Washington has deteriorated under the Biden administration, and they want more support for their intervention in Yemen’s civil war, help with their own civilian nuclear program as Iran’s moves ahead, and legal immunity for Prince Mohammed in the U.S., Saudi officials said. The crown prince faces multiple lawsuits in the U.S., including over the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018."

California’s Newsom Vows Gas-Price Relief in Optimistic Speech

California Governor Gavin Newsom in his State of State speech Tuesday portrayed the world’s fifth-largest economy as a leader in progressive initiatives and promised to address core issues such as soaring gasoline prices.

The first-term Democrat, running for re-election this year, touched on topics from preserving democracy to climate change and homelessness. Referring to one of the most pressing concerns for residents, he said he would work with legislative leaders on “a proposal to put money back in Californians’ pockets to address rising gas prices,” without elaborating.

While California is rife with contradictions it’s home to more billionaires than any other U.S. state, but has the highest percentage of residents in poverty Newsom touted its liberal ideals. The most-populous state has set goals in reducing emissions and expanding transitional kindergarten, as well as extending health-care coverage to all undocumented residents.

“In the midst of so much turmoil, with stacking of stresses and dramatic social and economic change, California is doing what we have done for generations, lighting out the territory ahead of the rest, expanding the horizon of what’s possible,” said Newsom, 54. “We know that government cannot be the entire solution, but we also know that government has always been part of the solution.”

The governor’s reference to gas-price relief comes after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine sent costs for the fuel surging. California now averages $5.44 for a gallon of regular, according to AAA. The state often has the nation’s most expensive gasoline, the result of high taxes, costs from global-warming programs and the use of pollution-fighting fuel blends used nowhere else.

Newsom had already proposed delaying an annual inflation-indexed increase in the fuel tax that was set for July 1 as part of his budget plan for the next fiscal year. He said Tuesday that it was time to go further.

The two leaders of the Democratic-majority legislature Senate President Pro Tempore Toni Atkins and Assemblymember Anthony Rendon after the speech issued a a joint statement suggesting that they are considering a tax rebate that’s broader than relief from fuel prices.

On homelessness, Newsom acknowledged the crisis has worsened over the past decade. California has the most people experiencing homelessness among U.S. states 161,548, according to the latest figures and they have become even more visible during the pandemic with encampments lining sidewalks and parks.

In next year’s budget blueprint, Newsom had already allocated $2 billion in homelessness-related proposals, which the legislature’s nonpartisan adviser characterized as his continuing focus on “one‑time, rather than on‑going, funding” for one of the state’s most significant challenges.

In an email to Republican leaders from Becky Mitts of the State Republican Party last night, it was announced that State Senator Dallas Heard has announced his resignation form the State Republican Party Chair. Here is part of the message signed by Senator Heard:

“I regret to inform you that as of March 11th, 2022, I will no longer be able to serve you as your chairman. My physical and spiritual health can no longer survive exposure to the toxicity that can be found in this community. There are dozens of you men and women that I truly love and admire. I greatly appreciate who you are, and I am extremely grieved that I will no longer serve and help you save Oregon from the ever-advancing Democrats. I must warn you good people in our party that we truly have an equal if not greater evil than the Democrats, walking among us.

Communist psychological warfare tactics are being used daily within the party. Using Civil Air they have changed it several times-habs about 10 of them used after January 20th 2021

as far as any usage of military ACs there is no telling which one they are on-and if 45 was on any of them it is highly unlikely they would be switched on but that specific AC is pretty high-level and is used for upper-level Military brass-that trip to Peterson AFB from JBA is made quite often.

There are 3 never seen G5s that the 99th Airlift squad have and are never switched on so if using a military one possibly one of those.
