Just sticked bread #1.
Before, took a shot of QRB board until now.
This board has a memorable history. It was created as bu board for QR - "just in case" - and one day, "just in case" happened. And anons came to this bunker to continue the fight.
First, it was a place of refuge. Then a brilliant digging board with an autistic bent. Then a ghost board that struggled to come back to life and almost died a year ago. At the last minute, that didn't happen, because a tiny group of anons wouldn't let it go. So it persisted, practically deserted, except for those anons.
Wasn't here at the very beginning, it was 3 days later when I washed up its shores, with a post in the middle of three prayers. When I told my story, some bible fags said they would pray for me. Another said, "this is where all the nice anons came" and added "you won't want to go back."
He was right.
QRB is a board of resurgence - of beating back the enemy, resisting the darkness. Not by withdrawing from the fight as some have said, but by fighting in a different way: with calmness, patience and deliberation. That's why it values COMFY - because that allows anons to really dig in deep.
It is an honor to be here, anons. This is especially addressed to those who stayed or visited, refusing to forget. Your interest kept this place - if not alive and kickin' - at least in existence.
So now we embark on a new adventure. It may seem to those who are oldfag QRB-anons that you have been invaded by a small but unruly group of crazy anons, but no. (well, mebbe a little bit crazy). Your new frens are just a little 'jokey' coz it's a good way to kill the tension that we all feel. Mebbe gets a little noisy at times but it's all in good fun.
Here's a toast to COMFY, frens
We come from far and wide
The old, the new, the meek, the bold
We gather side by side
Our brilliant ship, we sail today
With calm intention, come what may
We take no notice of the froth
but sally forth, into the fray
To light the night, that darkened cloth
To mend the holes, defeat the moth
So Man can sing and dance and play
And celebrate what God hath wroth.
