Now that is what 'usually' habbens to them when they split-history-cause it's just an accounting trick to make them 'appear cheap' even when they do reverse splits same stuff-Citibank a perfect example of that. Reverse split @ 10:1 in 2011 and they did that one to try and make it look like it had "growth potential". If you back that out of it's current price of $47.71 it is $4.71 and still under $5 and they did that split to run it up because many institutions will not buy an equity if it is below $5 a share-which it is if you back that out. But accounting tricks make it look like it is not.
