The only thing that even puts it in the "hmmm" column for me is the potential link to the Marine shot at the DC barracks during a rifle exchange. 1) Marines don't share rifles 2) if during an inspection, the inspection ALWAYS begins with clearing the weapon and PROVING it empty.

I spent half the afternoon over there. You are correct ... the work continues apace and, as previously, it includes having to be careful where one steps. Although a lot of it about the plane "crash" was rehash, an Anon did an excellent job with color filters that made the diver much easier to see ... and harder to deny.
Missing was the aerial photo which showed that the plane landed in relatively shallow water near the beach. If Fundy(?) could swim at all, it is likely that she could have made it ashore without any assistance. Another hundred yards or so and the plane would have landed on the beach.
Yeah, that's dent corn. Low sugar and meant for feed and chemical use. The corn got in late this year over much of the Midwest due to the heavy rains and flooding.
