I don't believe anyone has seriously threatened to arbitrarily increase the number of SC Justices since FDR used this threat to prevent Social Security from being struck down. This very issue was discussed here in the Bunker early in the Notables Refugee Crisis.
The US Constitution does not specify the number of justices, and this glaring omission opens the door to tyrants threatening to stack the court in their favor by just adding seats at will.
The Cabal and their compromised left-wing sycophants are panicked and will do nearly anything to prevent their downfall.
