Informal meeting of Defence Ministers
The Informal Meeting of EU Defence Ministers is a high-level meeting where Ministers will have the opportunity to exchange views and point the way forward on the latest developments concerning the EU’s Common Security and Defence Policy. The meeting will be chaired by the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. In addition to Defence Ministers of the EU Member States, the meeting will also be attended by the Chairman of the EU Military Committee (EUMC), representatives of the General Secretariat of the Council (GSC) and of the European External Action Service (EEAS), as well as the European Commission, the Political and Security Committee (PSC), and the European Defence Agency (EDA).
The NATO Secretary General has been invited for the first day of this meeting.
