So in my area the farmers markets are liberal hippie comunist meccas. Hell, most of the produce there is out of season which means it was not grown locally which means they bought it from Sysco, took it out of the box, marked it up 300% and are selling it as a 'farmer'. Its just marketing. I mean... corn ears in late April in the PNW... Get outta here. Heated greenhouse my ass. No corn sells for a price to support that.

What they want to do is to drive rural whites away from local farmers markets because in the past it allowed them to get some extra money with little effort on the side. Instead of going to a farmers market, hit up someone with a big garden and farm animals and ask them to grow for ya. They will likely be glad to.

I have managed to get much of my families calories from my own land and soon will be looking to sell produce. I am going to just set up a roadside stand. Farmers Markets are fucking exclusionary and draconian at this point. The require approval from a board, They have a tax system so they get sheckles... Its all bullshit. Work directly with a grower/gardener and stop being lied to.
