my take is brennan and clowns w/bho just fed info (fake) through the channels so guys like PS could feel 100% things were legit, sorta how intel and compartmentalization works.

BUT when BHO, clowns got in deep with potiential expoure they had to gain control of him at some point, knowing he was realizing fuggery and leverage him.
