FYI, I think paypal is implementing some kind of risk assessment algo that is nefarious. My credit is excellent, and I've had no issues anywhere ever, but Paypal has flagged one of my cards and now my email. Like a web, it's keeping me from making any purchases from companies that only use Paypal. I talked for a while with an agent and there doesn't seem to be anything I can do, but he suggested that I open an account and give them more info. Feels like a ecosystem lock-in BS and a real slippery slope. I tried doing that already last year because I didn't know what they underlying issue was. It still didn't work, so I just deleted the account, and moved on.
Anyone else having issues? Are social credit scores or some other BS system getting rolled out? Vote Trump, get dumped?
