Neon is doing what many believers do unfortunately. They try and confirm their faith in God by OTHERS' actions. You cannot do that.
You either believe in God or you don't. It should not be based on other people's beliefs or actions. Believing in God is your personal choice and responsibility. Just because there is evil in the world and it has managed to fool many into not believing doesn't mean that you therefore shouldn't believe. What if you were the only person on earth that still believed in God? Would you then change your entire belief system because you found you were the only one who believed?? If that is so, then your believing was not true. You never truly believed but were just going along to either get along or to fool a lot of people.
