That's dumb. There are simply times when you absolutely need a tank and nothing else will do. Marines should not have to wait for another branch of the service to decide whether they can spare a tank or not. Tanks were invented to fill a need. The need to put substantial firepower down a crowded street still exists and will always exist and tanks also serve as both cover and transportation for the grunts on the ground.
