Selsun Blue will knock it out in a day or two. I wrestled and boxed for decades and unfortunately those sports are a breeding ground for ring worm and athletes foot. All you have to do is smear SB on the area. First wash the area, use soap, clean/dry the area, then wipe SB on the area (not wet) and leave it there, do not wash it off, leave it. Your issue will be over very quick. It works like a charm.
