As impressive as it is, the force of the blast was very contained.

Sure, the shockwave did a lot of damage. But the explosion itself went down and up, not out.

Nobody really talking about the almost simultaneous Wuhan explosion.

They made butylene oxide.

Similar chemically to petrol.

Another bomb ingredient, to set off AN?

Was this a message to some terrorist bomb makers?

We know your sources?

The Mero Star docked next to the dock had just came in from Ukraine

Same day they raided Kolomoisky.

One of his businesses is nitrogen based fertilizers.

Company that owns the Mero Star had been accused before of arms running in Crimea and Syria.

Lots going on here below the radar.

Consider they could have been delivering bomb components from Ukraine, and then reloading it for a US destination.

The US also imports nitrogen fertilizers from Ukraine.

This could be on a ship and go boom in a US harbor.

How do you justify 2750 tons of AN sitting unclaimed in a sea port warehouse in the middle of Beirut?.

How do you ensure it accidentally falls into Hezbollah hands.

You make a BS cover story like this.

Just like the US losing all those trucks and weapons in Iraq, that just happened to end up in Syria or with Isis.

Oops… or spycraft?
