More than 100 people injured in Beirut protests amid clashes, reports of fire & police shooting

Over 100 people were injured during the protests in Lebanese capital over the massive blast earlier this week, Red Cross said. At least 32 people were taken to hospitals.

Thousands of protesters gathered in Beirut's center, attempting to reach the Parliament, clashing with police.

Demonstrators threw rocks and projectiles at riot police attempting to disperse the area by employing tear gas and other means.

Media reports claim that law enforcement used rubber bullets and even live fire against the crowd. Photos from the scene, uploaded on social media, showed numerous bloodied people with serious-looking injuries.

Eyewitnesses said fire has erupted at Martyrs' Square amid the ongoing unrest.

At one point, the Foreign Ministry of Affairs was breached by protesters where a banner was hung calling for a demilitarized Beirut.

As the violence was ongoing, Lebanese Prime Minister Hassan Diab addressed the nation saying that he was going to request an early parliamentary election as the only way to resolve the crisis.

US ex-commandos sentenced to 20 years in prison over failed attempt to depose Venezuela's Maduro

Two former US military special force troopers, who were captured in a botched attempt to infiltrate Venezuela and allegedly capture President Nicolas Maduro, have been sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Venezuela's chief prosecutor announced the sentences handed to Luke Denman, 34 and Airan Berry, 41 for their roles in the failed operation, which allegedly aimed to kidnap the country’s elected leader and fly him to the US. According to Tarek William Saab, the pair – both employees of a US private military firm – admitted to crimes of conspiracy, arms trafficking and terrorism, and were each sentenced to more than 20 years in prison.

Denman and Berr, both decorated former US military officers, were captured in May along with a group of fighters they had helped train after attempting to infiltrate Venezuela on boats from Colombian territory. Their plan was reportedly to kidnap President Maduro, seize control of an airport in Caracas and fly the Venezuelan leader to the US.

The so-called ‘Operation Gideon’ was prepared by the Florida-based security firm Silvercorp USA, though the fiasco earned it the nickname ‘Bay of Piglets’ in the media, a reference to the failed US-backed 1961 invasion of Cuba by anti-Castro forces.

The head of the company, Jordan Goudreau, published a contract that Silvercorp had signed with the US-backed 'interim president' Juan Guaido to conduct the incursion and topple the Venezuelan government. After the publication emerged, Guaido blasted the paper as false.

Twitter Locks Out Emergency Room Doctor Simone Gold for Posting Non-Approved COVID-19 Information on Their Platform

Front line doctors from across the US held a “White Coat Summit” last week in Washington DC to dispel the misinformation and myths surrounding the coronavirus.

The doctors are very concerned with the dangerous disinformation campaign being played out in the far left American media today.

From their website: “If Americans continue to let so-called experts and media personalities make their decisions, the great American experiment of a Constitutional Republic with Representative Democracy, will cease.”

Dr. Simone Gold, a board certified emergency physician, spoke at the White Coat Summit. After over 18 million views of their conference on Monday Google, YouTube and Facebook removed their videos.

A week ago Dr. Gold told Tucker Carlson that she was fired from her position after 20 years as an emergency room physician because she appeared at the White Coat Summit this week.

And on Friday Dr. Simone Gold was locked out of her Twitter account by liberal Twitter employees with no medical degree.

Twitter is silencing medical information from doctors on the front line in the China pandemic that could save lives.

Twitter doesn’t care.

Sleazy Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell Attacks Republican Senators – Accuses Them of Working for Russia

Yesterday two Republican Senators called out Democrat leadership for “knowingly” spreading disinformation on foreign Intel. They were right of course. This is why sleazy Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell came to the Democrat’s rescue.

Rep. Eric Swalwell, who ran for President but had to drop out after polling at 0%, again stood up for his fellow crooks in Congress who have pushed Russia collusion over the past four years, knowing it was all a lie.

Yesterday, we reported, in a rare rebuke, Senators Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Chuck Grassley (R-IA) sent a letter to top Democrats accusing them of spreading disinformation on foreign Intel. The letter was sent to House Intel Chairman Adam Schiff, Speaker Pelosi, Vice Chair of the Senate Intel Panel Mark Warner and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.

This was too much for Swalwell who was also parroting the Russia collusion lie. Swalwell responded on Twitter by labeling the letter Russia propaganda:

Swalwell also pushed the Russia collusion lie for years. It’s not clear if he is so ignorant that he believes it or so dishonest that he knows it’s rubbish and pushes it anyways. He is certainly dishonest and not too bright.

If you now go to Swalwell’s Twitter page you see that Swalwell has written a new book entitled: “Endgame”. His title of course, is not original since this is the title of the recent Avengers movie and a recent Taylor Swift song.

Swalwell is the reason for the phrase “Drain the Swamp”.

Susan Rice Sells Large Amount Of Stock, Fueling Speculation That She Will Be Picked As Biden’s VP

Former Obama national security adviser Susan Rice has been a sort-of sleeper candidate for Joe Biden’s running mate.

There’s been a lot of talk about her lately, but something she just did is fueling more speculation.

She just sold a large amount of stock she held in Netflix.

Former national security advisor Susan Rice has reportedly sold her shares in the streaming service Netflix amid rumors that she is on the shortlist of candidates to be presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s running mate.

Deadline reported Friday that Rice sold her shares valued at $305,323, according to an SEC filing dated Thursday.

A spokesperson for Rice told Deadline that her sale “has nothing to do” with Biden’s VP search.

“Ambassador Rice’s sale of a fraction of her Netflix stock has nothing to do with VP speculation,” spokesperson Erin Pelton, said. “She filed a stock plan pursuant to SEC regulations over three months ago.”

Earlier this week, Axios reported that the former vice president had narrowed down his choices to Rice and Biden’s onetime primary opponent Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif.

Gingrich: We’re Seeing the ‘Dumbing Down of America for Three Generations’

Friday on Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle,” former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich discussed the push made by the progressive left in America to undermine the traditional education system.

Host Laura Ingraham mentioned an effort to eliminate grammar and history because of racism concerns. Gingrich called that a product of the “dumbing down” of the country through three generations of indoctrination and groupthink in America’s education system.

“I think what you’re seeing is the dumbing down of America for three generations, you’re seeing left-wing indoctrination and literally groupthink,” he said. “I do a podcast, and I talk about shut your mouth. There’s an entire series on where the left has told us, say what they want or else. I really think the time has come to take back the schools and to take back the universities. And I think that a lot of governors, frankly, aren’t doing their job when they allow public universities to be run by people who are radically anti-American.”

“So, this is a very dangerous moment in our history,” Gingrich continued. “We are not going to compete with China if we insist on having schools where the unions won’t teach and what they teach isn’t true. And for example, in Baltimore, their entire buildings were not a single student could pass the state exam.”

UK Govt Calls in Military over Mass Flow of Illegal Migrants

The Home Office has formally requested support from the Ministery of Defence to handle the increasing flow of illegal boat migrants after dozens more made it across the English Channel on Saturday.

Thursday saw a daily record of 235 illegal incursions onto British territory, and Friday saw a further 130.

Recent media reports suggest the Conservative government is considering an Australian-style “push back” policy, which would forcibly return migrant and trafficker boats back to France. On Saturday, however, faced with the continuing stream of illegal aliens, the government department in charge of security and immigration was forced to reach out to the MoD for help.

The MoD said in comments reported by the Associated Press that it had received a request to “support UK Border Force operations in the Dover Straits”, the area off of the English south-east coastal county of Kent.

“We are assessing the requirement using the formal Military Aid to the Civilian Authorities process and are working hard to identify how we can most effectively assist,” the ministry said in a statement seen by the BBC.

On Saturday, a boat carrying 14 illegals landed at Kingdown in Kent. Another dinghy with 12 people on board was reportedly seen off of the coast being intercepted by UK Border Force. Another vessel carrying 19 people was seen in the English Channel, according to sources speaking to Sky News.

U.S. CDC Grants $3 Milion to Mexico’s Coronavirus Efforts

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) granted Mexico $3 million to help with the impacts of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), carry out research, and help migrants along the border. The money comes at a time when Mexico surpassed 51,000 coronavirus-related deaths and climbed to number three on the list of nations with the most fatalities.

Mexico’s Undersecretary of Health, Hugo Lopez Gatell announced the U.S. donation on Friday evening after his nightly news conference. During the conference, he also revealed the daily number of cases and fatalities.
