It seems that the 20th is still in force there, and it seems Congress can basically do ANYTHING to install an ACTING President. Forget about the House voting by states and all that... suppose they DON'T. Then there is need for an ACTING President.

I think Biden/Harris is INTENTIONALLY being set up to "lose" (or actually not win) and to seem too EXTREME, so that when the DS lawfare strikes some Deep State stooge can be brought on the scene and attack the extremes on "both sides" .... Trump AND Antifa.

Seems the whole UBI idea has never gotten a decent analysis….

REPLACE all "means tested" government aid programs…. cuts out VAST opportunities for corruption.

Helps to ensure that PAID employment serves an objectively beneficial goal….

Would have to be UNIVERSAL…NO requirements… maybe some checks in place regarding prisoners and so on…..

BUT… if this could be TRUSTED… it might seem to be something that ELIMINATES the very idea of a fundamentally DEPENDENT class. (and the DS seems to DEPEND on that…)

Some VERY capable people might choose to live on UBI for some time while doing real work. (But probably opportunities for non-salaried "work" need to be expanded too… too many obstacles atm…)

Actually I think that dealing with obstacles to "non-salaried" work might need to be a major component of any workable UBI program. Why shouldn't the option exist EVERY DAY of "just" working for pay, either physically or mentally or whatever is within your capacity? Or NOT…. if you are personally working on something else and the pay is not crucial? You might not get paid as much as a salaried employee comparable to you in various respects… but you will be absolutely working for pay. In the US, illegal immigrants do this every day. Why is this not an option for everyone?
