Most modern historians like to speculate that much of these style writings are simply a result of deep anti catholic sentiment that existed in the 19th century yet what I found was that this conspiracy appears to have some serious credibility.

This same anti catholic sentiment still existed long into the 20th century hence JFK' plentiful reassurances to the American people that he was an American First and not a Catholic First.

Oh, its one deep rabbit hole that I have yet to see any brave anon truly plumb the depths thereof.
