We are looking at possibly the set up for Daniel 9:27
A 7 year treaty with Israel that will be broken 3.5 years in.
These specific 7 years are a time of great tribulation. At the halfway mark the AntiChrist will enter the temple and declare himself to be the Christ/Messiah. And set up the abomination of desolation.
