Yes, honey. A plea deal is struck to generally avoid trial and get a reduced or dismissed sentence. There is still a "guilty" plea on your record. Without seeing the actual charge I can't say for sure, but this would be a felony charge and their attorney could get a plea down to a misdemeanor. Fine, community service, etc.

Infowars reporter Millie Weaver uploaded a livestream video of a police officer showing up to her home claiming a grand jury indicted her and that she is under arrest.
In the video, Weaver said she never received any notice in the mail and had “no idea why” she was being arrested.
“Guys, I’m literally about to break huge breaking news right now and I’m being arrested,” she told the camera.
Millie’s husband, Gavin, can be heard off-camera telling her, “We’re being charged with burglary.”
“Burglary?” she responded. “For what?”
“They won’t say,” he answered.

A woman who says she was just 11 years old when Jeffrey Epstein sexually abused her is among nine accusers who filed a new Manhattan lawsuit against the dead pedophile’s estate.
The women — who filed the case without using their real names — say they were sexually abused and in some cases raped in incidents going back as early as 1978 and as recent as 2004, according to the supreme-court lawsuit filed late Thursday.
A Florida woman, only referred to in court papers as Jane Doe XIII, says that in 1993, when she was only 11, Epstein “sexually assaulted, abused, battered and digitally penetrated her on three, separate occasions,” as well as forced her “to perform oral sex on him,” the documents say.
Another woman from Tennessee says that when she was just 13 in 1978, Epstein abused “and raped her multiple times,” the court documents show.
The two women are among five of the plaintiffs who say they were underage when they were abused by the multimillionaire. The other four women in the suit were adults at the time of the alleged abuse, the papers state.
Jane Doe XI of New Jersey says that in 2002, when she was an adult, she was sexually abused by the hedge-funder — and throughout the abuse, Epstein would threaten her saying “that if she told anyone about what he was doing to her, she would be putting not only her, but also her family’s safety and well being at risk,” according to the court filing.
Esptein also told the woman that “he would make sure [her father’s] business was destroyed,” the court papers allege.
The plaintiffs “were all sexually battered, assaulted and abused by Epstein,” in the course of his several decades-long scheme in which he “orchestrated a massive sex trafficking network to obtain hundreds of underage girls and young women for not only his sexual gratification, but also that of several other wealthy and/or powerful individuals within his social network,” the court documents allege.
The women who say they were underage at the time of the abuse were able to still file suit despite the typical statute of limitations on such claims because of New York’s Child Victims Act. The special law allows people who were abused as children to bring claims regardless of whether their cases are outside the statute of limitations.
The four women who weren’t underage say they should also be allowed to file their cases since they all faced threats that stopped them from coming forward at the time of the abuse.
The victims are suing Epstein’s estate executors for unspecified damages.
Dozens of other women have also filed similar lawsuits against Epstein’s $634 million estate.
Epstein, 66, killed himself in a Lower Manhattan jail cell last August while he was awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges.
His alleged madame, and British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, was arrested July 2 on charges that she groomed young women for sex and is currently in Brooklyn lock-up.
Lawyers for the executors did not immediately return a request for comment.
