The entire discussion is focused on a dis-embodied "they" or "them". It's easier to hate when you can strip away the personal identity of the "other". This is the same sort of thinking that resulted in EVERY mass slaughter / genocide in our history.
It's hard not to use that sort of terminology when you realize that "they" are teeing up to exterminate "us".
