One thing with games is that they are essentially simulators.

 

If you play a lot of driving games as a kid, it makes the driving test easier, because you’re used to most of it, thanks to the driving ‘simulator’.

 

If you get caught up with a game like GTA, you really get acclimated to the idea of mayhem, because you’ve seen it in the mayhem ‘simulator’.

I didn’t say it produces killers, but it CAN do one thing that movies can’t: train the user.

 

Right or wrong, Movies can desensitize people to various things. Games go a step further, because they make the player an active participant.

 

They won’t make you a killer, but they can train you in HOW to be a better one.
