Patience is the key here.

POTUS rushing to his defense looks suspect. Optics are important.

The kid is clearly innocent of the charges he’s been issued— given their severe nature. People are already figuring out that it was self-defense. By the time Trump gets involved, it will be clear that it is mercy and necessary.

Thing about exaggerated charges is it raises the threshold of proof for the state to meet.

First Degree Murder is the highest bar.

And the prosecution will not have the option to reduce the charges, once the trial has begun. And once acquitted, the incident can never be revisited for different charges of a similar nature.

So POTUS may not even be needed.
