Israeli Military Forgot At Least 5 Merkava Battle Tanks At Golan Heights

Hikers in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights found at least 5 armed and unguarded Merkava Mk. IV battle tanks. Doors of the battle tanks were open with equipment and munitions left completely unguarded inside.

“This is an exceptional and serious malfunction that does not meet the standard expected by the IDF,” the Israeli Defense Forces said in response to the incident.

“The issue will be investigated immediately by the commanders and will be presented up to the level of the regional commander. Lessons will be learned and those responsible will be prosecuted and severely punished. After the incident, security around the vehicles was tightened and procedures were sharpened for all soldiers and commanders.”

The video was published online amid the growing tensions between Hezbollah and the Israeli Defense Forces in both the Golan Heights area and the Israeli-Lebanese contact line. So, if Israeli sources do not know how to explain this failure, they can easily blame Hezbollah.

-This MINOR child of 17, goes to help neighboring town beset by riots (which are based on yet another media lie).

-BTW, he is listed as Hispanic.

-Cops are not in control in Kenosha, the rioters are, so there is conservative narrative reason to go..if we needed one.

-Wisconsin is an open carry state, but that is N/A to long guns anyway.

-Wisconsin doesn't regulate long guns except certificates for hunting, and short-barrels. Wisconsans hunt… And there is no prohibition for 16 and 17 year olds to carry long guns. They just can't purchase. He's in legal possession of a rifle.

-Kid obviously knows this. He's interviewed by riot-watchers early in the evening and explains why he's there, that he has a medic kit, and that he is armed because its a danger zone. He's careful to point out his medic kit and that it is a danger zone. (PoM#1.)

-Americans are free to travel between states without papers or permission, so he can be at this public thoroughfare if he wishes..he can be wherever he wants to be. After all, the rioters are there, so if they can be there, so can everyone else.

-But his attorney Lin Wood has now stated the gun was a friend's and always in Wisconsin, so that is moot.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — A federal judge in California agreed Friday to release from jail a university researcher accused of lying about her ties to China’s military and Communist Party to gain access to the United States.

“You’re getting a huge break here,” U.S. Magistrate Judge Kendall Newman told Dr. Juan Tang during a Sacramento hearing, the Sacramento Bee reported.

Kendall said he was willing to allow Tang to be housed with a Chinese emigre who doesn’t know the woman but offered to put up $750,000 in home equity as bond, the Bee said.

It could take until late next week to complete the paperwork for the bond. Tang might yet be denied freedom from jail because the prosecutor is expected to ask another federal judge to review the decision, the paper said.

The former Chinese cancer researcher at the University of California Davis is charged with visa fraud. She has been held without bail at the Sacramento County Main Jail since July 23.

Tang falsely claimed to have no ties to China’s People’s Liberation Army-Air Force or the country’s Communist Party, authorities contend.

She was preparing to return to China in June when FBI agents showed up at her door to question her. They seized her passport. She was considered a fugitive after fleeing to the Chinese consulate in San Francisco for a month.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Actor Chadwick Boseman, who played Black icons Jackie Robinson and James Brown before finding fame as the regal Black Panther in the Marvel cinematic universe, died Friday of cancer, his representative said. He was 43.

Boseman was diagnosed with colon cancer four years ago, his family said in a statement.

Here comes the next Bill Gates project which, like his others, aims to solve climate change and save the planet. However, this time, some of the critics of Gates & Co.'s approach have warned that the advanced nuclear power plants he's now trying to build (which would "supplement" the northwest's power grid) might be vulnerable to terror attacks due to high levels of enriched uranium. In a report published Thursday, Reuters revealed, for the first time, a new campaign by the Gates-controlled TerraPower LLC (Gates is chairman of the company's board) to build commercial advanced nuclear energy plants called "Natrium" in the US later in the decade. The project will focus on the Pacific Northwest, where Gates has won the backing of three major utilities in the region, including Berkshire Hathaway-owned PacifiCorp (of course Gates' best buddy Warren Buffett was more than willing to help out, we imagine). After President Trump scrapped a plan to build these advanced power plants in and around Beijing, Gate's TerraPower was forced to shift its focus back to the US, according to Reuters. Gates had initially hoped to build an experimental nuclear plant near Beijing with state-owned China National Nuclear Corp. But last year, TerraPower was forced to seek new partners after the Trump administration restricted nuclear deals with China.

If the initial plants are a success, the company hopes to build them across the US, and abroad, hoping to provide a means of buttressing energy grids that are increasingly dependent on renewable power like solar and wind. By mid-century, "we would see hundreds of these reactors around the world, solving multiple different energy needs,” said Chris Levesque, the president and CEO of TerraPower, said. The 345-megawatt plants would be cooled by liquid sodium and cost about $1 billion each, and the complex technology would allow for the introduction of nuclear energy in countries that don't have those resources like…say…Iran? And via this "Molten Salt Power Storage" technique, these new-age nuclear power plants could shut down and store energy for days when the grid isn't as well supplied. Nuclear power is a top source of virtually emissions-free electricity, but many plants are shutting in the United States because of high costs and competition from solar and wind. Critics of advanced nuclear have also warned that smaller nuclear is even more expensive than conventional. The new plants, however, are designed to complement a renewable power because they will store the reactor power in tanks of molten salt during days when the grid is well supplied. he nuclear power could be used later when solar and wind power are low due to weather conditions. Molten salt power storage has been used at thermal solar plants in the past, but leaks have plagued some of the projects.

Even though questions about practicality and affordability continue to plague the project, Gates and Levesque insist that nuclear power can be an important component of a "fossil fuel free" energy grid. However, nonproliferation experts warn that these plants could become targets for attack because their uranium fuel would be even more highly enriched than conventional nuclear fuel. The Gates Foundation has been given wide latitude by the press (because Gates owns the press) to experiment with its public health initiatives, but some projects have been criticized for making the situation in impoverished nations worse, not better. When it comes to privatized nuclear plants, the margin for error is a lot more unforgiving.

This time, 40-year-old William Barratt of Sugarloaf Township received videos and photos of child porn on his phone and computer.

According to the U.S. Attorney, this all went down between April 2018 and March 2019.

Barratt has been sentenced to five years and supervised release after prison.

Barratt is also required to pay $3000 in restitution to each of the nine victims in the child porn photos.

Barratt will have to undergo sex offender treatment and register as a sex offender

U.S. executes fifth federal prisoner after 17-year pause

The U.S. government executed Keith Nelson, a convicted child murderer, on Friday afternoon in its fifth execution since resuming capital punishment this summer after a 17-year hiatus and despite a ruling the lethal injections violated U.S. drug laws.

Nelson, 45, was declared dead at 4:32 p.m. in the U.S. Department of Justice’s execution chamber in Terre Haute, Indiana, after being injected with lethal doses of pentobarbital, a powerful barbiturate, the department said.

It was the second execution this week after Lezmond Mitchell, another convicted murderer, was killed on Wednesday. The administration of President Donald Trump, a vocal supporter of capital punishment for serious crimes, has now carried out more federal executions than took place in the preceding 57 years.

Nelson was convicted of raping and murdering 10-year-old Pamela Butler in Kansas in 1999.

A Bureau of Prisons official asked Nelson if he had any last words. About 15 seconds passed with no response from Nelson before the official began the execution, according to a journalist selected by the department to witness the execution and share a report with news outlets. Nelson took about nine minutes to die.

His victim’s mother, Cherri West, said his death brought her some peace.

“I wasn’t expecting him to say anything because he never had no remorse,” she said. “I have no remorse for him.”

On Thursday, a federal judge overseeing legal challenges to the execution protocol by Nelson and other death row inmates ruled that the Justice Department’s protocol violated drug safety laws.

Judge Tanya Chutkan of the U.S. District Court in Washington ordered Nelson’s execution be delayed until the Justice Department revised its protocol to comply with the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, including a requirement that a drug can only be issued on a clinician’s prescription.

The Justice Department challenged the injunction delaying the execution in the U.S. Appeals Court for the District of Columbia Circuit. The appeals court overturned the injunction on Thursday evening, ruling that Chutkan had not established that violations of the act constituted “irreparable harm.”

Chutkan spoke with lawyers representing Nelson and the Justice Department in a telephone conference on Friday as she considered a request by Nelson’s lawyers to revise her order or issue a new one blocking Friday’s execution.

Chutkan denied that request less than 90 minutes before Nelson’s scheduled execution time, writing that he had not “convincingly” shown irreparable injury.

Nelson was one of more than a dozen inmates on federal death row in Terre Haute who sued the Justice Department over its lethal injection protocol, which was announced in 2019, replacing the old three-drug protocol last used in 2003.

He is now the fourth of those plaintiffs to have since been executed by the Justice Department after the U.S. Supreme Court swiftly dismissed earlier injunctions issued by Chutkan delaying the executions to allow the litigation to proceed.

Nelson’s attorneys Dale Baich and Jen Moreno said in a joint statement that the U.S. execution system was flawed and that the government was “blatantly violating” drug laws.

“As this execution and the recent ones demonstrate, the death penalty is not about fairness and justice, it is arbitrary and political,” the statement said.

President Trump Poised to Award First Medal of Honor to Black Veteran of Recent Wars: Alwyn Cashe

President Donald Trump is poised to award the first Medal of Honor to a black veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars, Army Sgt. 1st Class Alwyn Cashe.

Rep. Michael Waltz (R-FL) announced Friday that he, along with Reps. Stephanie Murphy (D-FL) and Dan Crenshaw (R-TX), received a letter from Pentagon Secretary Mark Esper agreeing that Cashe deserves to have his Silver Star upgraded to the Medal of Honor, the nation’s highest combat award for valor for his heroism in October 2005.

Cashe was deployed to Iraq in 2005 when his fighting vehicle hit an improvised explosive device and caught fire. Cashe escaped the vehicle but returned repeated times to pull soldiers out of the flames, while he himself caught on fire and was exposed to enemy gunfire. Cashe later died of his wounds.

Veterans on the right and the left have long pushed for his Silver Star to be upgraded to the Medal of Honor, but it will not be until the Trump administration where it will likely now happen.

Esper said in the letter that he reviewed a proposal by Waltz, Murphy, and Crenshaw to upgrade Cashe’s Silver Star and agreed that his actions merit award of the Medal of Honor.

Esper said that since the award must be awarded within five years after the date of the act justifying the award, Congress will need to first waive the limit. After that, he will provide his endorsement to Trump, and then the “final award authority” rests solely with the president.

Breitbart News reached out to the White House for comment but has not received a response. However, it is unlikely that Trump will not decide to award Cashe the Medal of Honor.

Waltz and Crenshaw already offered a successful floor amendment to the fiscal year 2020 National Defense Authorization Act to waive the statute of limitations for Cashe’s Silver Star to be upgraded to the Medal of Honor.

“Alwyn Cashe’s extraordinary courage on behalf of his fellow soldiers, in the face of danger and death, embodies everything the Medal of Honor represents,” said Waltz.

“Cashe is a Florida and American hero. He without a doubt deserves our nation’s highest honor — and I’m very glad Secretary Esper and our Department of Defense agree and recognize his heroic actions. Now Congress needs to act to waive the five-year statute of limitations and allow the Department of Defense’s recommendation to move forward and proceed to the President to give final approval,” he added.

Murphy said in a statement, “Alwyn was a hero in the purest and most profound sense. He gave his own life to save the lives of his fellow soldiers.”

“I am overjoyed that the Secretary of Defense has determined that SFC Cashe’s actions merit the Medal of Honor, a conclusion I strongly share. I will work with my colleagues to swiftly grant the President the authority he needs to provide this valiant soldier with the recognition he earned,” she said.

Crenshaw added, “Heroes are all around us but certain heroes stand out. One of those heroes is Sergeant First Class Alwyn Cashe. Alwyn Cashe’s actions saved his men’s lives. He risked his own life as he pulled them out of a flaming Bradley Fighting Vehicle and went back – again and again.”

The Premier, Gladys Berejiklian, said she was sorry for the "horrible mistakes" made by NSW Health. "I want to apologise unreservedly to anybody who is continuing to suffer, or has suffered unimaginable loss because of mistakes that were made within our health agencies."

Two. Who was the federal Minister for Aged Care when the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety published its interim report titled with the single word "Neglect" in October last year? Richard Colbeck.

Rakoff noted that under a landmark Supreme Court decision, public officials must show actual malice defined as the knowing and reckless disregard for the truth to prove libel. The editor responsible for the editorial, James Bennet, had ignored colleagues who raised concerns about linking the crosshairs map to the shooting, the judge said.

When viewed “in a light most favorable” to Palin, “a rational finder of fact” could find actual malice, the judge wrote. On other hand, he noted, there is also “considerable evidence” that Bennet “simply drew the innocent inference” that the map might invite violence.

Last month, Lorenzo Anderson's mother, Donnitta Sinclair Martin, filed a claim against the city, alleging officials created a dangerous environment by allowing protesters to occupy six city blocks and that police and fire officials failed to protect or medically assist her son. Her attorneys, who did not specify a dollar amount, say they plan to file a federal wrongful-death suit. King County prosecutors on Aug. 5 charged 18-year-old Marcel Long with first-degree murder in the case, accusing him of fatally shooting Anderson and fleeing the state. The kid is clearly innocent of the charges he’s been issued— given their severe nature. People are already figuring out that it was self-defense. By the time Trump gets involved, it will be clear that it is mercy and necessary.

Thing about exaggerated charges is it raises the threshold of proof for the state to meet.

First Degree Murder is the highest bar.

And the prosecution will not have the option to reduce the charges, once the trial has begun. And once acquitted, the incident can never be revisited for different charges of a similar nature.

So POTUS may not even be needed.
