God, in Christ Jesus, is not without balance. That Balance is Justice and Mercy. Neither negates the other. That's why Christ Jesus paid the price of Justice for those whom His Father gave Him, for whom he died, as well as having fulfilled righteousness on their behalf.
Mercy is fulfilled in Christ Jesus, and apart from Him there is no mercy on Judgment Day lest God would deny Justice.
He only CLAIMS world wide authority. The Revelation centers around the deception of the Harlot and her False Prophet, the Man of Sin. It is he who crowned all the kings from the ten dynastic families of Europe, even excommunication three of those families when he excommunicated three lines of those kings.
The great deception is the presentation of another "christ" and another "gospel", something of which the Harlot has done for centuries. The False Prophet, is that great deceiver, and that Deceiver is the Papacy.
In ancient Rome, a horse was sacrificed to the god of war, Mars, on the ides of October. A race would determine which horse was chosen, using two horse drawn chariots. The horse on the right hand of the winning team was chosen.
