FINALLY!!!
Got a clearnet browser (Firefox) to work on 8kun with https:// encryption and over a VPN. If this posts, I'll share the one simple little tweak that made it happen after a little detective work. I can't believe I've been suffering with Tor for almost a year over this and when Tor became read-only something had to give. I can't believe how simple it was and the clues were right in front of me (us).
The shills won't like it bc you still likely will have the VPN node banning BS to deal with…this just makes it possible to post again. I need to do some .png screenshots and I'll post the fix next bread early so it'll get some views and we can get it into the notes. A lot of folks have struggled with this for a long time. Autism has it's advantages.
Some of us had one particular setting checked in our security (paranoia kek) that was preventing ours from working. Lots of Anons are hyper security aware and adjust settings that work 99% of the time, but were bonking 8kun on clearnet browsers.
Because the default works…some of us are dumbasses who play smart people on the computer. You wisely didn't handicap yours.
