We support this. I know it's being presented as Kamala's bill, but we Patriots would love to see a change to weed's Schedule 1 status and it would seriously make our lives easier and better.

I know we have much bigger priorities right now and that this isn't nearly the most important cause, but I'll honestly be pretty disappointed in a Republican Senate that doesn't support full legalization at the federal level, or something approaching that. Won't stop me from voting straight R, but still. Unless the DEMONRATS put some kind of ridiculous socialist add-on into this bill with legalization as bait, I'd very much appreciate you guys considering this.

Please. People shouldn't be barred from smoking a joint on their own time while it's legal for federal employees to drink themselves to sleep on a nightly basis.

And besides, we're gonna need room in our prisons for people who actually belong there.

It is a very substantial argument. Any of the reasons for banning weed apply to both or either substance. It is therefore philosophically inconsistent to ban weed while they're legal.
