Had Almighty God not withdrawn his protection, Jesus would not have died. Without his actual death, the resurrection is a fraud and if THAT is a fraud, the whole thing is.
Nope, God had to withdraw his protection and allow Jesus to do alone what he, alone, could do. Once Jesus had actually and willingly given up his life, God restored it.
Have faith, my friend. But base it not only on the Bible, but also the mature understanding that faith without action is empty. Jesus acted on his faith by giving up the only life he had in the trust that his Father knew what he was doing and knew what was necessary. If THAT part of the prophesies had NOT been fulfilled, then the prophesies regarding the Messiah did not apply to him at all.
