“You have more than you know.”
I was exploring an alternate meaning for this phrase.
Plenty of people have lots of things, but know very little.
How many rich and famous stars go bankrupt or bust?
They have more than they need. They have objects, but
lack the values that make them an admirable human being.
Our modern society strives for prestige, money, fame, luxury,
gadgets, possessions, and things. But we should be striving
for knowledge, wisdom, logic, love, learning. The things
you own end up owning you. Loans, mortgage, cars, debt.
If we knew more, lived within our means, and placed less
emphasis on material things, we would have more peace
and security. We already have too much, and know too little.
