Q, this place just moved into a building in Humboldt, AZ that by all rights should be condemned. It has no windows in the second floor, they are all covered with plywood. It started out as a dance hall, there were a bunch of little girls there yesterday. The guy who runs it lives in a bus behind the property. He is from Yakima Washington. He just got elected to the town council. This building can't possibly be considered a safe place for young children with all the windows boarded shut.

The kids were loving it… they discovered that working intensely on one or two subjects at a time helped them learn and retain the subject matter more easily and learning became FUN!

In another story, The Spokesman-Review reported in December that Glen Blomgren, who operates the Christa McAuliffe Academy in Yakima, claimed to parents of prospective students that he had his master’s and doctoral degrees from Saint Regis.
Blomgren, now a Republican candidate for county commissioner in Yakima County, later removed those “credentials” from his biography posted on the Web site for his alternative, online high school.
