Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in 2017 showed US President Donald Trump a potentially doctored video in which Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas seemed to call for the murder of children, in order to sway the American leader to the Israeli side, according journalist Bob Woodward’s explosive new book on the administration, “Rage.”

Reporting on excerpts from the book, set to be released next week, Jewish Insider and The Independent said that early on in his presidency, Trump began to waver in his support for Netanyahu.

The US president was having “doubts about Netanyahu and wondering aloud if the Israeli prime minister might be the real problem,” according to Woodward. “Trump had even earlier said to Netanyahu on a Washington visit that he believed he was the obstacle to peace, not Abbas.”

Then, when Trump came to Israel in May 2017, Netanyahu presented him with a video of Abbas in which “it sounded like Abbas was ordering the murder of children.”

Netanyahu wondered: “And that’s the guy you want to help?”

Trump was disturbed by the video and called in then-secretary of state Rex Tillerson to watch the clip.

“Watch this! This is unbelievable! You’ve got to see this,” he said.

Tillerson watched the clip, but was highly skeptical. He later said he believed it had been crudely cut together using various bits of speech by Abbas.

After Netanyahu left the room, Tillerson told Trump: “Mr. President, you realize that the whole thing was fabricated?”

Schumer and Pelosi-Aligned Groups Funnel Millions in Secret Cash Into 2020 Elections

Liberal advocacy groups closely aligned with Sen. Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) have pushed more than $12 million in dark money contributions into the 2020 elections, filings show.

Majority Forward, a nonprofit with ties to Schumer's Senate Majority PAC, has pushed $10.6 million in direct contributions into the election, while House Majority Forward, a nonprofit that is linked to Pelosi's House Majority PAC, has poured $1.6 million into 2020 efforts. The cash ultimately benefits liberal politicians, who routinely vow to rid politics of dark money.

Majority Forward, created in 2015, has been the biggest liberal dark money spender in recent years. The nonprofit has steered $8 million in direct contributions to Schumer's Senate Majority PAC; $1.5 million to Let's Turn Colorado Blue, which backed Democratic Senate candidate John Hickenlooper in the Democratic primary against Andrew Romanoff; and $500,000 to the progressive group Swing Left, which works in toss-up elections. House Majority Forward, meanwhile, was launched in 2019 shortly after House Democrats introduced a bill that would have required the disclosure of major donors who give to 501(c)(4) nonprofits like itself. Its entire $1.6 million in direct contributions went to Pelosi's House Majority PAC, even though House Majority Forward's website says its work focuses mainly on economic, social, and environmental issues.

Both nonprofits keep their donors' identities hidden, making it difficult to know where Democratic campaign contributions are ultimately coming from. Anna Massoglia, a researcher at the Center for Responsive Politics, says this practice acts as a loophole to disclosure rules. "Dark money groups funding closely tied super PACs and other political committees that are legally required to disclose their donors keeps the identity of financiers behind the spending hidden, skirting FEC disclosure rules," Massoglia said.

The information of individuals who contribute more than $200 to a political committee in an election cycle is posted online by the Federal Election Commission. But when individuals first give cash to an outside dark money group, which then pushes the cash into political committees, their identities remain hidden throughout the process.

Lawsuit reveals new evidence supporting 9/11 whistleblower who alleged intel failures

An affidavit filed as part of a lawsuit brought by a 9/11 whistleblower has revealed sworn testimony by a former Department of Defense official claiming that the whistleblower, a former military intelligence officer, was deliberately sabotaged by a Pentagon review process.

Retired U.S. Army Col. Anthony Shaffer is suing his former attorney, Mark Zaid, in Washington, D.C.'s District Court over Zaid's alleged failure to "zealously represent" Shaffer in his fight against the government over what Shaffer claims was whistleblower retaliation.

Shaffer is known for his participation in the U.S. Special Operations Command Operation Able Danger, a program meant to counteract global terrorism.

The retired colonel told the 9/11 Commission in 2004 that Able Danger had, prior to the September 11 attacks, identified two of the three al-Qaeda cells that had planned the attack, including one to which Mohamed Atta, one of the attack's chief architects, belonged. Shaffer has alleged that the government subsequently destroyed evidence of its having been aware of Atta's identity prior to the attacks.

Shaffer claims that, following his testimony to the commission, he was retaliated against by his superiors in the Defense Intelligence Agency, which suspended and eventually revoked his security clearance.

According to Shaffer's lawsuit, Mark Zaid committed "legal malpractice" by failing to appropriately represent his client amid the alleged retaliation from government officials.

Zaid, founder of the nonprofit law firm Whistleblower Aid, represented the U.S. intelligence community source who triggered the impeachment investigation of President Trump when he claimed whistleblower protection to anonymously divulge details of a classified phone call between Trump and the president of Ukraine.

Zaid did not respond Friday to a request for comment on the suit's allegations.

Two Explosions Rocked Turkish-Occupied Ras Al-Ain In Northeastern Syria

On September 12 morning, two explosions rocked the Turkish-occupied town of Ras al-Ain in Syria’s northeastern region.

The first explosion took place in the Haj Wassfi alley in the town’s center, where many shops are located. The explosion was reportedly caused by an improvised explosive device. Three women and a man, all civilians, were killed in the blast, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

A few minutes after the first explosion, a booby-trapped motorcycle, which had been parked next to Ras al-Ain’s central bakery, blew up. No human losses have been reported, thus far.

As usual, some opposition activists accused Kurdish forces of orchestrating the bombings in Ras al-Ain. No evidence was presented to back these accusations.

A series of bombings rocked Ras al-Ain and other Turkish-occupied areas in northeastern Syria over the last few months. The perpetrators are yet to be apprehended by the Turkish military and its Syrian proxies.

Turkey is yet to take serious measures to improve security in areas occupied by its forces in northern and northeastern Syria. Ankara, that is working to assert its military presence in the country, does not appear to be interesting in the well-being of civilians in these areas.

Facebook Under Fire For Keeping Antifa Page While Eliminating Far-Right Groups

Facebook is under fire this week after it was discovered that the company has allowed Rose City Antifa, a violent group associated with riots for many years, to maintain a Facebook page despite the company’s controversial program to take down certain sites. As will come as no surprise to many on this blog, I would not have the page taken down on free speech grounds. My greatest fear is not Antifa (which I have criticized for years) but the growing censorship of the Internet. While I recently testified about Antifa, and specifically Rose City Antifa, as part of a violent anti-free speech movement, I have opposed declaring them terrorist organizations and believe that their speech should be protected. While Facebook is a private company not subject to the First Amendment’s limits, it should adhere to free speech values on the Internet.

RCA is arguably the oldest Antifa group in the United States and was founded in Portland. In 2013, various groups that were part of The Anti-Racist Action Network (ARA), including RCA, formed a new coordinating organization referred to as the “Torch Network.” This lack of structure not only appealed to the anarchist elements in the movement but served the practical benefit of evading law enforcement and lawsuits. While some have attempted to hold such members accountable, like journalist Andy Ngo who sued RCA for assaulting him, such lawsuits struggle with finding witnesses and assets for an effective case.

Under Facebook’s “Dangerous Individuals and Organizations policy” the company pledged to “address organizations and movements that have demonstrated significant risks to public safety.” It has removed a number of far right and far left groups.

We have previously discussed how governments and politicians have demanded greater and greater censorship of the Internet, which is the greatest vehicle of free speech ever developed. The erosion of free speech on social media and the Internet includes calls from leading Democratic leaders for years to implement private censorship of political speech, a view supported by academics who have declared that “China was right” about censorship. Recently, Democratic Nominee Joe Biden pushed for censoring statements by Trump and others opposing mail-in voting.

My views of free speech are well known. RCA is an extremist group but it also engages in protected speech. We need to criminally address its conduct, not its speech. It is the difference between advocating violence and acting violently. If the site is actively arranging attacks or directing riotings, it is more than just speech. It generally does not do that. It calls for counter demonstrations on such sites but leaves the violent elements to local members. Once you start censoring such sites for the actions of some members, it puts the Internet on a slippery slope of speech regulation. Many organizations, including Black Lives Matter, have had violent followers but there are still important parts of a non-violent debate over issues like racial justice.

However, there is another reason why these pages should not be censored. It is far better to have such groups operating openly where they can be monitored. We saw in Germany that suppressing neo-Nazi groups just forced them underground while doing little to deter their expansion. It is better for law enforcement and others to have these groups more visible. On Facebook, these groups can be challenged and their extreme views exposed. When forced underground, the groups claim that they are victims of “fascists” and their hateful views grow unimpeded in radical echo-chambers.

Antifa is arguably the most successful anti-free speech movement in modern history. It has the direct or indirect support of some academics and many students. Indeed, the recent controversy over statements made by a Connecticut professor and a Rhode Island professor on the killing of a conservative counter protester reflects how such views are become more common. Some of these individuals oppose the free speech protections that we afforded them, at least when extended to those with opposing views. However, they are the price of true free speech.

Newsom Signs Bill to Amend Sex Offender Law Reducing Penalties For Sex with ‘Willing’ Same-Sex Minors

California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) on Friday night signed a bill that would allow judges to decide whether to list a man as a sex offender for having oral or anal sex with a same-sex minor.

The bill lowers the penalties for adults who have sex with ‘willing’ same-sex minors. A Judge could decide if the adult has to register as sex offender if the offender is within 10 years of age of the victim

The bill does not apply to minors under the age of 14.

SB 145 was introduced by state senator Scott Wiener and passed the California legislature last week.

Since 1944, judges decided whether a man had to register as a sex offender if he had sex with a female minor 14 years of age or older when the age difference is not more than 10 years, so Wiener argued that since the law didn’t apply to young boys, the LBGTQ community was being ‘discriminated against.’

The law ends discrimination “by treating LGBTQ young people the exact same way that straight young people have been treated since 1944,” Wiener said in a statement last week, adding: “Today, California took yet another step toward an equitable society.”

Shady Democrat Donor Website, ACTBLUE, Received Nearly Half ($346 Million) in Donations in 2019 From 4.7 Million Unemployed Donors Despite Unemployment at Less Than 4% in 2019

The Gateway Pundit reported on May 30th that the recent riots in Democrat-led cities around the country were coordinated and related to three main groups: 1) US based Islamist Organizations, 2) Domestic terrorists, and 3) Other radical groups and Marxists linked to the Democrat Party.

There clearly was no reason for the mass riots taking place around the country after the death of the individual at the hands of the police in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Nothing warranted the wholesale destruction of property, the murder and and riots around the US since that event. Nothing excused the mass violence and destruction.

The Gateway Pundit was also the first to report that ActBlue was raising money using BLM as its front group for the donations.

The Daily Caller confirmed this and reported that BLM is not a non-profit organization and nonprofit organization (Thousand Currents) said it provides ‘fiduciary oversight, financial management, and other administrative services to BLM.

Candice Owen reported on the BLM – ActBlue relationship and was targeted by a bogus fact-checker. Tom Fitton from Judicial Watch jumped in and stated that the findings confirmed what we and Candice Owen reported:

Thousand Currents is a supposedly non-profit organization and Susan Rosenberg served on its Board. Susan Rosenberg was a member of the Weather Underground terrorist group, which included Obama friend Bill Ayers. President Bill Clinton gave her a pardon on his last day in office.

So in summary contributions to BLM are funneled through ActBlue, the major resource for Democrat donations, and then funneled to an organization ran by a member of a domestic terrorist group.

Google 'Geofence' Warrants Keep Locking Up Innocent People Who Were In Proximity Of A Crime Scene

Months ago we detailed an incredibly scary and Orwellian tool in the local police arsenal known as a "geofence warrant". As described at the time it's essentially a virtual dragnet over crime scenes where police request to sweep up Google location data drawn from users’ GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and cellular connections from everyone who happened to be near a crime scene. From this blanket of surveillance law enforcement then try to figure out which phones may be tied to suspects or possible witnesses.

Already this type of blanket surveillance warrant, which works as a kind of 'guilt by proximity' at the time a crime occurred, has been used by police to arrest what turned out to be innocent bystanders who were suddenly surprised to find themselves prime suspects. It's perhaps been used only dozens of times in some states, but will likely only increase alongside similar "pre-crime" algorithm technologies. In one instance earlier this year, a Gainesville, Florida man was caught up in a legal nightmare because he merely rode his bicycle unbeknownst near a home burglary at around the same time it happened.

And it was in 2018 that for the first time a man had been falsely accused and arrested based on a controversial geofence warrant for the crime of murder.

Patriot Prayer’s Joey Gibson Sues Multnomah County District Attorney in Federal Court

Joey Gibson, the leader of the conservative Patriot Prayer group, sued Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt on Friday, alleging unequal treatment under Schmidt’s recent policy change.

Gibson was one of six people charged with inciting a riot on May 1, 2019, after his group and people linked to the far-left Antifa group clashed. Video footage showed him pushing a woman who was with Antifa, police said in an affidavit (pdf). He has pleaded not guilty.

Schmidt, who entered office last month, announced shortly thereafter that prosecutors working under him would likely not pursue some charges against people arrested during the ongoing unrest in Portland.

The charges cited included riot.

Gibson’s lawyers are arguing that their client should have his charge dropped in light of the policy change.

The lawsuit accuses prosecutors of going after the Patriot Prayer leader and another man, Russell Schultz, for protesting against Antifa and the local government’s alleged failure “to hold Antifa accountable for criminal conduct.”

“While Defendants willingly allow a group known as Antifa to engage in mass criminal conduct to the detriment of the City of Portland, and intimidate the public and public officials, Defendants continue to prosecute Plaintiffs for violation of the riot statue” despite there being no evidence of a violation, the lawsuit states.

Additionally, prosecutors “have enacted a formal policy of presumptive dismissal of riot charges arising out of protest activity but have selectively refused to apply that formal written policy to Plaintiff’s charges,” which amounts to “selective prosecution,” Gibson’s lawyers added.

A spokesman for the district attorney’s office told The Epoch Times via email Saturday that the office does not comment on pending litigation.

The case against Gibson remains pending before the court, the spokesman said.

Gibson directed supporters to a page on one of his lawyer’s websites asking for donations for his legal defense. The page says Gibson is in danger of having to face “an extraordinarily-hostile Portland jury despite a clear statement that his personal conduct was in complete conformity with the First Amendment, and there was only ‘scant’ evidence that he authorized, directed or ratified any unlawful or tortious acts.”

Australia's Anti-Lockdown "Freedom Walk" Results In Arrests After Clashes With Police; "Big Event" Planned For Sunday

As the world gets closer and closer to, what is likely going to be forced vaccinations against COVID-19, anti-vaxxers and anti-lockdown protests have sprung up Saturday (Sept. 12) across Australia and New Zealand.

In Melbourne, demonstrators took to the streets, defying strict social distancing measures, resulting in at least a dozen arrests as clashes with police were seen, reported RT News.

Rallies were observed in central Melbourne early Saturday around the Shrine of Remembrance, an area that saw a surge in social unrest last weekend (see: here).

"Despite all the warnings, it was disappointing to see individuals turn out to protest in the city today, putting the lives of Victorians at risk," Victoria Police said in an e-mailed statement to Reuters.

RT notes while "1,500 people" signed up to attend today's protest, only about 100 protesters were actually seen - considering local police have threatened anyone who breaks lockdown restrictions could face upwards of a $1,650 fine.

Organizers branded the protest as "a legal walk" that would allow Melburnians "to come together, get healthy, and talk about getting our freedoms back." The walk did not go over well with Victoria Police, who told The Epoch Times that they were monitoring social media activity ahead of the planned protests.

"Victoria Police is aware and monitoring potential protest activity planned for this weekend. We are currently making a number of inquiries in relation to this and remain in the process of planning our operation response," Victoria Police Media Unit Supervisor Sam Bidey told The Epoch Times in a statement.

'Like Crooked Hillary': Trump Lashes Out at Mueller's 'Hit Squad' Over 'Accidentally Wiped' Phones

Despite being legally required to keep all records, messages, and notifications intact before handing over government-issued equipment, many of the members of Mueller's team reset their phones to factory defaults, claiming that they did so due to "accidents" and forgetting their passwords.

US President Donald Trump has castigated the so-called Russia probe in a new Twitter tirade, focusing specifically on a recent revelation that most members of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team had wiped their government-issued phones clean of any data. The fact that only a handful of team members handed over all the data relating to their communications drew suspicion from POTUS, who alleged that a cover-up could have taken place.

Trump called the excuses given by Mueller's team to justify the data wipe "dumb" and suggested that they had followed in former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's footsteps. The president has repeatedly accused Clinton of hiding evidence of her use of a private email server for work correspondence – which could have contained sensitive data, but also needed to be archived properly, something that wasn’t done in the case of the former State Department head.

Suspicious Cell Phone Data Wipe

The fact that most employees involved in the Russia probe reset their phones to factory defaults before handing them over emerged after the conservative watchdog Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit against the Department of Justice for not providing the records from their devices under a Freedom of Information Act request. The released documents showed that most members of Mueller's team explained the wipes by the fact that they had either forgotten their passwords or incorrectly typed them in several times, thus triggering auto-wipes. Some records say wipes were done "accidentally", without elaborating on the details of the apparent accidents; other records, meanwhile, do not show wipes, but at the same time state that no substantial data was found on the phones.

Russia And China Reject Microsoft Report of Alleged Meddling in US Election

MOSCOW/BEIJING – Russia and China rejected an allegation by Microsoft that they are allegedly “seeking to meddle in the United States’ 2020 presidential election”, accusing the American tech giant of fabrication and attempts of creating trouble where there is none.

“Microsoft’s conclusions Russia allegedly interfered in the US election do not deserve attention as long as there is no substantial proof”, Russian Presidential Spokesman, Dmitry Peskov told the media on Friday.

“Since the end of 2016 (when the first claims emerged that a group of ‘Russian hackers’ had been exposed) we have not seen any sensible arguments, proof or anything else <…that might indicate that some organizations related to Russia might have been involved in some cybercrime,” Peskov said, TASS reported.

“You will agree that there was no sensible information then. There were some absolutely groundless charges, some phobias that there must be Russian cyber monsters behind any cybercrime. If this [Microsoft report] follows the same pattern, it is merely indicative of low qualification. If there are some professional arguments there [in the Microsoft report], then they should be turned an attentive ear to, of course,” Peskov said.

The presidential spokesman said he had not seen the Microsoft report himself yet and asked journalists to quote some of the arguments the company’s analysts had used.

“What makes Microsoft think that it was a group of Russian hackers?” he asked, adding, “What makes them think that they were Chinese, Iranian and Russian [hackers]? Does the report say so? Why didn’t they say that there had been French or Polish hackers, or an Estonian group involved?”

Peskov promised he would make more comments on this issue as soon as journalists found in the published report at least some proof that the cybercriminals belonged to a certain country.

In response to a quote from the report read out by journalists that US intelligence officials had allegedly found evidence of Russia’s meddling in the elections Peskov said that “the US intelligence has repeatedly made mistakes and this was recognized in the process of various investigations and parliamentary probes”.

“It was recognized by US legislators themselves and their commissions that looked into Russia’s rumored interference in elections. Then there followed official conclusions by these commissions that Russia had not interfered in the elections,” he said.

The Kremlin spokesman called for interpreting such reports “with far greater tolerance.”

“We’ve heard all this many times, to our regret. I can merely say once again that Russia did not intervene, does not intervene and has no intention to intervene in any country’s internal affairs or election processes. Likewise, we strongly dislike it when others try to meddle in our affairs,” Peskov said.

On July 29, YouTube terminated Del Bigtree’s “The Highwire” account after he posted a video of Del and me discussing my debate with Alan Dershowitz on vaccine mandates. YouTube also purged hundreds of other truthful videos on vaccines.

YouTube’s owner, Google, is effectively a vaccine company. Two subsidiaries of Google’s parent company, Alphabet, market and manufacture vaccines: Calico and Verily. Arthur Levinson, Genentech’s former CEO, runs Calico, an anti-aging drug company while Verily teams with Pharma to conduct drug and vaccine clinical trials.

In 2016, Alphabet inked a $715 million deal with GlaxoSmithKline to create Galvani, another venture to develop bioelectronic medicines and vaccines and to mine medical information from Google customers. Google’s Customer Services President, Mary Ellen Coe, sits on Merck’s board.

In 2016, Google partnered with Sanofi launching Onduo, a virtual diabetes clinic and in 2018 in another business that uses analytics to develop new drugs and vaccines.

In 2018, Google invested $27,000,000 in Vaccitech to make vaccines for flu, MERS, and prostate cancer. Vaccitech calls itself “the future of mass vaccine production.” In 2020, Vaccitech started work on a COVID vaccine. Google claims to provide politically and commercially neutral searches, but it systemically manipulates search results to suppress accurate vaccine safety and efficacy information and steers users toward deceptive and fraudulent Pharma propaganda.

Google’s algorithms censor negative information about COVID vaccines and positive information about therapies like hydroxychloroquine that compete with the vaccines in development. Google censors reports that diminish public panic about COVID-19. Google’s definition of “misinformation” is “any information, even if accurate and true, which criticizes vaccination products.” Facebook and Google hired “FactChecker” (Politifact) to censor vaccine misinformation.

Politifact was launched by a grant from the Gates Foundation, the world’s largest vaccine promoter. Google’s orchestrated censorship across social media is crippling legitimate debates over international vaccination policies. This is a crisis for liberal democracies.

Chicago’s Fraternal Order of Police Endorses Donald Trump for Reelection

The Fraternal Order of Police’s (FOP) Chicago chapter announced it has endorsed President Donald Trump for reelection in November.

The police union’s board of directors voted on September 2 to back the president, according to NTD.

Following the announcement, chapter President John Catanzara said of Trump, “I will do whatever I can for him.”

“But there’s definitely people who are not going to be happy about it. There are more Democrats, locally speaking, but there’s even some Democrats who would agree that the current president has been very good for employment and law enforcement these days,” he noted.

When it came to Democrat policies, Catanzara accused Mayor Lori Lightfoot of “steering the ship into an iceberg full speed ahead without even blinking an eye as if the iceberg is going to break when you hit it,” according to Patch.com.

However, he felt confident President Trump would win another four years in the White House come November:

(People) see the reality of no law and order anywhere other than a handful of spots and I think they’re educated, intelligent and street smart enough to know that is what is going to make us a prosperous society — if we go the other way. Many other police and law enforcement groups have endorsed President Trump ahead of the November election, according to Breitbart News.

“The endorsements from law enforcement organizations signal urgency against the growing anti-police forces in the Democrat party as violent leftist riots beset America’s major cities,” the report said.

During his interview with Patch.com, Catanzara also praised Trump for standing with Chicago’s officers.

“(Trump) has been a stalwart for supporting the men and women of this police department and constantly highlighting the issues within Chicago,” he said.

“Unfortunately, every time he does, all you get is goofy crap from the other side like they live in some other city and they have an alternate version of reality,” Catanzara concluded.

Pope Francis: Climate Change Is Causing ‘Poverty and Hunger’

ROME — Pope Francis said Saturday that it is “evident” climate change is to blame for a number of humanity’s social ills, as well as disrupting the balance of nature.

“It is evident that climate change not only upsets the balance of nature, but causes poverty and hunger, affects the most vulnerable, and sometimes forces them to leave their land,” the pope told a group gathered in the Vatican on Saturday.

As he has done on other occasions, Francis insisted on the relationship between environmental responsibility and social justice.

“Neglect of creation and social injustices influence each other: it can be said that there is no ecology without justice and there is no justice without ecology,” he said.

The pope’s audience consisted of participants in a meeting of members of the Laudato Sì community, named after the pontiff’s 2015 encyclical letter on the environment, which bears the same name.

Francis underscored the importance of the “integral ecology” Laudato Sì proposed, meaning that “we are all creatures and everything in creation is related.”

“I dare say, everything is harmonious,” he continued. “The pandemic has also proved it: human health cannot be separated from that of the environment in which it lives.”

“We need a real will to tackle the root causes of the ongoing climate upheavals,” Francis insisted. “Generic commitments are not enough — words, words.”

“To those of you who pray, I ask to pray for me, and to those who do not pray, at least send me good vibes, I need it!” he concluded.

Pope Francis has made care for the environment and opposition to climate change a hallmark of his seven-year pontificate, taking to task world leaders who have shown too little resolve in their battle against global warming.

Last April, Francis said he believes the Chinese coronavirus pandemic is “nature’s response” to humanity’s failure to address the “catastrophes” wrought by human-induced climate change.

Asked by a British journalist if the coronavirus crisis is an opportunity for an “ecological conversion,” the pontiff reasserted his belief that humanity has provoked nature by not responding adequately to the climate crisis.
