apparently you don't understand your own posts. the first sentence is correct and is essentially the same thing i said.
since the moon DOES rotate on its axis, EVERY side of the moon faces the sun as it does. the lunar day is 14 earth days long, and the lunar night is 14 earth days long. the same side of the moon always faces earth, SOMETIMES it is lit by the sun (full moon), and SOMETIMES it is dark (new moon) because it is facing away from the sun.
