JCPD: Vehicle and possible person of interest identified in hit-and-run incident
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WCYB) — UPDATE (9-14-20):
According to a release Johnson City Police Department arrested a Bakersville, North Carolina man in regards to the hit and run.
The suspect was identified as Jared Benjamin Lafer, 27, of Bakersville, North Carolina. He was charged with one count of Aggravated Assault after surrendering to authorities at the Washington County Detention Center.
