southfront.org: what is it?

looked at the article at southfront.org but betweent he cyrillac docs and subject matter being hard to evaluate (no other articles) - hard to evaluate.

the deliberately general ref to 'muh russia' was just meant to suggest that anything that sources like Daily Beast (or Politico - another critic of southfront) says is suspect. Bc they always accuse every source they don't like of working for russia, right?

Generally, it's very hard for people in the US to evaluate english-language reports about things that happen in Europe bc most sources are leftwing. makes it hard to stay informed or to properly evaluate a lot of sources.

What is southfront.org? Still not sure. But the site looks very slick, commercials - lots of ads and requests for donations.

Their "about" statements has some red flags:

SouthFront: Analysis & Intelligence is a public analytical umbrella organization created and maintained by a team of experts and volunteers from the four corners of the Earth.

[huh?? what kind of experts??]

SouthFront focuses on issues of international relations, armed conflicts and crises. The organization provides military operations analysis, military posture of major world powers, and other important data influencing the growth of tensions between countries and nations.

We try to dig out the truth on issues which are barely covered by the states concerned and the mainstream media.

The SouthFront Team believes that not only well-paid “professional journalists”, but common people with inquisitive minds are able to produce balanced content in a modern information-oriented society.

Our goals:

Highlighting alternative points of view;

Providing independent analysis and intelligence of international events;

Promoting human justice and peaceful dialogue between warring nations;

Preventing the escalation of conflicts that can lead to wars with the threat of the use of nuclear weapons;

Reducing the flow of media disinformation;

Building a community of constructive and progressive authors freely sharing their views and analysis with people all over the world.

>>10660093 Speaker in Harris Co TX explains why stats for COVID were so overinflated in late summer

notable

Excellent vid where the very articulate speaker (from county board?) explains why there appeared to be an dramatic increase in Covid numbers during mid to late summer (due to backlogged cases from the spring).

Says Dallas Co backed out their old numbers but Harris Co did not.

PNW is suffering, but still slow to wake up. keep wondering just how bad it has to get to really make a dent in peoples' minds (and voting habits). hard to tell yet because people often start changing silently - by the time they speak, it's later. watching and hoping for the best, but not sure we're thru the worst of it yet. Courage, neighbor.

urban dictionary is your friends, newanon. that way, you don't have to keep asking newfag q's. just look it up, even a general search will give you the answer in this case although you'll still have to use yr brain to figure out the real purpose of some terms.
